    Business Development Officer

    Job Summary

    • A Business Developer in a micro-lending company plays a vital role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for lending services.

    Job Responsibilities
    Market Research and Analysis:

    Team Lead, Investment Banking

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deal Execution: Responsible for overseeing the execution of financial transactions, which may include mergers and acquisitions, equity/ debt capital market transactions. Coordinate teams and ensure that transactions proceed smoothly.
    • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and serve as a primary point of contact and provide financial advice tailored to the client's needs.
    • Financial Analysis: oversee the development of complex financial analysis, including financial modeling and business valuation.
    • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior team members, such as analysts and associates. They provide guidance, set priorities, and ensure that the team's work aligns with the overall strategy.
    • Deal Origination: May be involved in bring new business to clients, crafting presentations that showcase the firm's capabilities and ideas for potential deals.
    • Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with transactions is crucial. AVPs are responsible for ensuring that risk factors are considered in decision-making.

    • Deal Structuring: Help structure complex financial transactions, designing the terms and conditions of deals to optimize outcomes for clients.

    Job Requirements
    Qualification:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics or Statistics, or any similar field.
    • Post-graduate and/or professional qualifications such as an MBA, CFA, MSc. in Finance, ACA, and ACCA

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services, out of which 4 years must have been in core investment banking.
    • Extensive experience in the execution and origination of Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Mergers and Acquisition transactions.
    • Proven experience in identifying and dealing with complex issues in management areas.
    • Experiences in any of the BIG 4s are strongly encouraged to apply

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Good client engagement experience
