    Corporate Communications Lead

    Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking a dynamic and skilled Communications Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in internal and external communications, with strong capabilities in campaign ideation, scripting, business writing, and public relations. While digital/social media experience is a plus, the role’s focus is on building cohesive communication strategies and narratives that support business objectives. The role will also contribute to strategic thinking by supporting the Group Head in identifying trends, providing insights, and shaping how the organization engages its stakeholders

    Job Details

    Internal Communications

    • Design and manage communication strategies to engage employees and align them with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
    • Develop newsletters, memos, announcements, and staff engagement materials.
    • Partner with HR and leadership to ensure information is timely, clear, and inspiring.
    • External Communications
    • Build and manage relationships with media, press, and industry stakeholders.
    • Draft press releases, executive speeches, thought-leadership articles, and op-eds.
    • Support crisis communications and provide input to reputation management strategies.
    • Ensure all external messaging is consistent with the organization’s brand values.

    Campaign Development & Execution

    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute 360° communication campaigns (events, PR activations, internal/external campaigns).
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with marketing and corporate goals.
    • Track performance and report outcomes with insights and recommendations.

    Strategic Contribution

    • Support leadership with communication insights for key business decisions.
    • Identify trends in media, stakeholder engagement, and public sentiment that may impact the business.
    • Provide recommendations on how to position the organization in new markets or conversations.

    Content Development

    • Create compelling scripts, speeches, and content for corporate videos and events.
    • Draft high-quality reports, proposals, and executive-level communications.
    • Produce infographics, one-pagers, and storytelling assets for multiple platforms.

    Optional: Digital/Social Media Support

    • Provide input to digital campaigns and social media content planning.
    • Share best practices for online storytelling and reputation management

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & TRAINING

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, Media, Marketing, or Social Sciences related field.
    • Digital media and content certification is required

    KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    • 3–5 years of professional experience in communications (internal and external).
    • Demonstrated ability to ideate and deliver campaigns end-to-end.
    • Excellent business writing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
    • Familiarity with PR strategy, media engagement, and crisis comms.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
    • Comfortable working with senior leadership and providing insights.

    Group Lead, Partnership

    The Group Lead, Partnership and Business Growth will lead strategic initiatives to identify, pursue, and secure partnership and business growth opportunities across government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) at both the national and sub-national level across investments, funds management, portfolio management, pension fund administration, insurance, lending, and infrastructure.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy targeting government MDAs at national and sub-national levels
    • Identify and prospect high-value opportunities within government sectors related to investments, portfolio and pension fund management, insurance, lending, and infrastructure projects.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government MDAs, understanding their financial solutions needs and policy environments.
    • Lead negotiations and partnership discussions on engagements with MDAs aligned with Norrenberger’s strategic objectives.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, brand, risk, legal, and compliance teams to design and tailor financial solutions that meet government requirements.
    • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activities in the public sector to inform business growth initiatives.
    • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification, proposal development, presentation, deal closure, through to execution.
    • Drive revenue growth targets and monitor performance metrics related to government partnerships and new business development.
    • Represent the organization at industry forums, government events, and stakeholder meetings to enhance brand visibility and market access.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory policies and governance standards in dealings with government entities.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or in a related management and science field (Master’s degree is an added advantage, and preferred).
    • Proven experience of 8-10 years in business development, partnerships, or sales within financial services and other industries, especially servicing public sector clients.
    • Strong understanding of government operations, procurement, and regulatory environments.
    • Demonstrated success in managing complex negotiations and closing high-value deals with government entities
