    Logistics Manager

    This role will be responsible for managing the fleet and ensuring all the bikes are enroute daily. The individual will be responsible for managing  all daily challenges faced while riders are o assignments and ensure that all challenges are sorted on the field on a day to day basis

    • Manage all branch operations at the Port Harcourt office
    • Manage the recruitment of bike riders for the business while monitoring daily targets  and reporting dully to the head office
    • Manage day-to-day fleet operation activities and riders
    • Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by the scheduling of drivers based on the documented delivery needs
    • Streamline routes with riders to keep costs down but still deliver the level of service customers are expecting
    • Manage all drivers while ensuring they are in compliance with Paralex requirements
    • Intervene with Riders  road misdemeanors or incidences
    • Facilitate and implement corrective actions with all riders
    • Ensure adherence to delivery operational guidelines 
    • Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance Officer in Lagos to ensure minimal downtime of fleet
    • Monitoring the repairs of all bikers
    • Monitor and ensure fleet operations are in compliance with local and state rules and regulations
    • Ensure the  operational efficiency of all the fleet via preventive maintenance
    • Create  and implement fleet policies
    • Establish business relationships with transport companies for the purpose of upcountry deliveries
    • Manage last-mile delivery of the consignment to upcountry locations
    • Track riders, keep logs and records of deliverables, executed orders
    • Liaise with all car parks on a day to day basis to ensure that all riders comply with daily parking requirements  
    • Inspect goods to be delivered to ensure that they are in the right quantity and quality. Supervise the loading of such goods into vehicles for delivery
    • Liaise with transportation companies to create a good working relationship to be able to strike good negotiations for last-mile transportation of goods, and to prevent hiccups that may arise

    Requirements

    • Minimum first degree
    • A bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management will be an added advantage
    • Must  possess 5 years’ operational experience in logistics and vehicle maintenance
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills
    • Able to handle the pressure of meeting deadlines
    • Strong understanding of safety culture and management
    • Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

    HR Manager

    Description

    The role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all employees’ personnel matters and assist with administering the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with the Coordinating and supervising recruitment briefs and onboarding of new contract staff
    • Effectively follow up on employee daily issues
    • coordinating and follow up with payroll processes
    • involvement with training curriculum development and staff /client training function
    • Assist in Coordinate and manage recruitment, screening, and interviewing of applicants for carrying clients
    • Assists in handling complaints and grievances and determination of appropriate disciplinary actions.
    •   providing training sessions as appropriate for varying clients
    •  Ensure maintenance of appropriate personnel records of all outsourced staff
    • Assist in the Management of outsourced staff welfare issues.
    • Generate daily and weekly HR reports.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Human Resources Management or relevant field
    • Not more than 35 years of age
    • Must reside on the Island
    • 5-years work experience as an HR officer
    • Effective written communications skills including the ability to prepare reports, proposals, policies, and procedures
    • Effective public relations and public speaking skills
    • Research and program development skills.

    Accountant

    Description

    The scope of this role covers the financial management of the operations of the organization. which includes: reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and general account management 

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining  all Revenue ledgers 
    • Daily review and updates of cash registers 
    • Monitoring of  all vendors invoices
    • Responsible for preparing monthly reports to the management committee.
    • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
    • Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
    • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
    • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements (LIRS, FIRS)

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • At least 3-5years post qualification experience.
    • Must be between 28-35  years of age
    • Must have good knowledge of Peachtree or sage / any related accounting software
    • Must be able to handle compulsory tax and legislation issues
    • Must be able to handle stock and inventory management
    • Must be able to generate monthly management reports
    • Must be able to manage petty cash
    •  Must be able to do bank account reconciliations
    • A Female is a MUST.
    • Must reside on the Island
