    Legal Secretary

    Responsbilties

    • Draft, format, and review legal documents including contracts, MoUs, policy documents, and internal regulations.
    • Maintain and update the institute’s legal files, case records, and correspondence.
    • Support legal officers in contract management and ensure timely renewal of agreements.
    • Organize and schedule meetings, legal consultations, and documentation signings.
    • File and track regulatory documents with government agencies, accreditation bodies, or legal institutions.
    • Assist with compliance monitoring and ensure adherence to statutory and institutional requirements.
    • Serve as the point of contact between the legal unit and other departments, staff, and external legal counsel.
    • Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Assist with the preparation of legal reports and minutes from legal meetings or disciplinary panels.

    Requirements

    • Must be a fresh graduate who has completed the NYSC program.
    • Must have been called to the Nigerian Bar.
