    Social Media Handler / Content Creator

    Description

    • We are looking for a creative, versatile, and detail-oriented Social Media Handler / Content Creator to join our team.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing our online community, and growing our brand’s digital presence across multiple platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Write, edit, and publish engaging posts across social media platforms.
    • Create and manage weekly content calendars.
    • Script, produce, and edit video content that connects with our audience.
    • Design visually appealing graphics to complement posts.
    • Monitor conversations and respond promptly to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
    • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance (traffic, engagement, shares, conversions).
    • Stay updated on digital and social media trends, integrating them into content strategy.
    • Curate relevant content from reputable sources to share with our audience.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging.
    • Participate in filming and editing video footage for content.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in a relevant field.
    • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in social media management and content creation.
    • Proficiency in digital tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar).
    • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategy.
    • Experience in a fast-paced media or related firm is highly desirable.
    • Social intelligence and proven ability to drive growth and engagement.

    Production Manager

    Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our team and oversee the smooth execution of our video productions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the end-to-end production process for all NM TV video projects.
    • Develop and manage detailed production schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
    • Supervise the production team, including cinematographers, video editors, sound engineers, and other crew members.
    • Liaise with internal departments (editorial, research, business development, digital media) to align video content with brand strategy and campaign objectives.
    • Ensure all technical equipment (cameras, lights, microphones, etc.) is available, functional, and properly maintained.
    • Implement and enforce best practices for video production, including lighting, sound, set design, and post-production standards.
    • Maintain clear communication between pre-production, production, and post-production teams.
    • Ensure productions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet Nairametrics’ quality standards.
    • Coordinate guests’ schedules and manage contracts or release forms where applicable.
    • Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve NM TV’s video production quality and efficiency.
    • Manage relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and contractors as needed.
    • Provide regular progress and performance reports to management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Film, Communications, or related fields
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ proven experience in production management (preferably in media, TV, or film).
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in production software/tools and familiarity with camera, lighting, and sound equipment.
    • A creative eye with attention to detail.
