    Analyst - Customer Acquisition and Compliance.Sales and Distribution

    Division: Sales and Distribution

    Mission

    • To collate and analyze SIM Cards registration, SIMS availability/Supply and Distribution, Activations, Customer Retention and churn  intelligence information on an on-going basis, (in relation to benchmarking and competition) and provide insight to  Customer Acquisition Channel performance.

    Description

    • Evaluate performance measured against SIM registration channel objectives  in the following areas:
      • Trade Partner and Customer Acquisition AND compliance Partners
      • Walk-in-Centers
      • Mobile Lite 
      • Connect Stores and Connect Points
      • Other Sim Registration Agents (Pentagon).
      • Collect, analyze and interpret a wide variety of Channel data and develop weekly /monthly reports in preparation for business review meetings.
      • End- to-end device life-cycle management, tracking, monitoring of device’ heartbeat, utilization and efficiency.
      • Engage the regions to follow up on implementation of Customer Acquisition Channel Initiatives.
      • Provide and maintain a strong and reliable database to facilitate tracking and improvement of channel services and providing information enabling channel business decisions to be made.
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year to date (YTD) measurement reports.
      • Provide functional support to Customer Acquisition Manager
      • Support seamlessly, the end-to-end SIM Acquisition agent’s system up, training, onboardings and exit.
      • Analyze relevant best practices and provide recommendations to Customer Acquisition Manager.
      • Attend regulatory meetings at state level and share outcome with regional leadership

    Requirements

    Education:

    • First Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or any related discipline
    • Fluent in English.

    Experience:

    • 3-7 years work experience which includes
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others
    • Experience working in a medium organization:

    Engineer - RF Optimization.Network NG

    Reports To: Manager - Radio Frequency Optimization Kano

    Division: Network

    Mission

    • To manage radio network design and optimization activities in the Kano Region of the network comprising (Kano, Gigawa ,Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Gombe,Yobe, Borno and Zamfara), ensuring that enough capacity and coverage is provided to support subscriber growth and usage demands. 
    • To provide high Quality of Service (QoS) to MTN subscribers from a radio access point of view.

    Description

    • Network optimization functions within the region which will be measured by:
    • Capacity assurance – Liaise with the Planning and implementation team to ensure that at any time the network will be able to accommodate the subscriber level anticipated 3 months ahead
    • SLA KPIs improvement – Ensure that the optimization vendors execute optimization actions to continually improve the SLA KPIs
    • Technology integration – Liaise with the Planning team to ensure that multiservice sites (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G etc) are properly designed and integrated with minimal complexity and good Inter Radio Access Technology performance.
    • Time - Ensuring that network optimization and SLA KPIs improvement are done in timely manner.
    • Always maintain a detailed knowledge of the coverage areas of all the RAN nodes in the regions, profile their performance and report status
    • Monitor, benchmark and report all competitor activities
    • Manage customer complaints handling with the optimization vendor.
    • Apply the use of optimization tools to conduct routine deep dive to identify network problems and resolve them.
    • Be aware of any of the issues below that may affect the successful operation of MTN’s business within the region
    • Provide specialist technical support to all other departments regarding the network and radio related features
    • Conduct the trialing and deployment of new features on the network
    • Conduct routine coverage evaluation using physical drive tests and virtual drive tests.
    • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly analysis and audit of the network, resolve identified issues through the optimization vendors and escalate the ones meant for other stakeholders.
    • Monitor and analyze network performance and configuration to ensure KPIs are in conformance with targets for the region
    • Continuously analyze traffic, utilization and subscriber growth in order to foresee needs for capacity expansion.
    • Review, prepare and load cell data for rehoming sites.
    • Evaluate, verify and supervise the optimization of MTNN radio networks by managed service vendor(s)

    Requirements

    Education:

    • First Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline Fluent in English 

    Experience:

    • 3 – 7 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others
    • Cognate RF Optimization, Analysis and solutions experience 
    • Experience with a GSM, WCDMA, LTE or Wireless Telecomm operator
    • Experience working in a multi-vendor network
    • Experience with Ericsson, Huawei and ZTE equipment will be desirable.

    Manager - Broadband Regional Sales North East.Fixed Broadband

    Mission

    • To implement the sales strategy for broadband sales across the MTN Regional footprint to ensure that National and regional targets across the full range of products is achieved.
    • To manage and lead the regional direct and indirect sales teams towards sales, distribution and availability of MTN broadband product portfolio and drive MTNN’s growth aspirations.

    Description

    • Provide leadership to the Regional broadband Sales team.
    • Ensure the achievement of the revenue, airtime sales, data device, data and VAS revenue and gross connection targets in the assigned region.
    • Drive execution of MTNN’s broadband agenda in the region – visibility and merchandising by retail formats, retail expansion across the traditional and non-traditional channels, retail loyalty program and relationship building.
    • Execute the channel strategy in the region - relationship building with channel partners, execution of the loyalty programs, channel profitability and credit management.
    • Ensure a consistent customer experience across all retail formats in the territory.
    • Responsible for the regional OPEX and P&L.
    • Ensure effective field coverage by both the direct and auxiliary sales force in the region and execution of go to market plans in the territory.
    • Responsible for crafting and implementing a developmental and coaching program for the regional sales teams.
    • Execute strategies and plans for sales and distribution in the region for sustainable channel growth and development including ‘go-to-market’ plans for the full bouquet of MTN products.
    • Ensure the achievement of revenue, sales and acquisition target for both voice and data in the region, in line with network capacity and oversee regional dealership with MTN Trade partners and other sales channels to meet the overall regional sales target.
    • Ensure territory coverage in terms of sales circle and set target of stock availability and management of recommended retail price (RRP) and monitor sales performance trend.
    • Liaise with regional Stock/Inventory team to review sales and distribution performance (including stock availability) and submit
    • Monthly, quarterly and yearly stock forecast for the region, across channels.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Fluent in English and language of country preferable
    • A first degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or any Social Science degree
    • Possession of a post graduate degree maybe an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • 6 - 13 years’ experience which includes:
    • Manager track record of 4 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry 
    • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous

    Specialist - Business Continuity Management.Risk and Compliance

    Mission

    • Drive and coordinate MTN Nigeria’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme to strengthen organizational resilience and ensure continuity of critical business operations.
    • Oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of business continuity risks across critical processes, services, technology, suppliers, and operational sites.
    • Coordinate the development, testing, and continuous improvement of continuity and recovery plans while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, MTNN governance standards, and leading practices such as ISO 22301.

    Description

    • Assess, develop and deliver BCM training and awareness on methodologies, tools, roles and responsibilities; maintain training materials; assess organisational training needs; and recommend training interventions to the Senior Manager, BCM.
    • Develop, plan and coordinate end-to-end execution of BCM exercises, tabletop simulations and plan tests with business process owners, recovery teams and relevant support functions; develop scenarios, facilitate sessions, document outcomes, conduct after-action reviews, track corrective actions and ensure plan updates reflect lessons learned.
    • Oversee BCM tools, data repositories and documentation controls; maintain end-user support materials; ensure quality of master data and metadata; and coordinate controlled access to sensitive business process information, recovery plans, evidence and BCM records.
    • Prepare BCM governance reports, dashboards, BRC/Board Audit Committee inputs and management review materials for review and approval by the Senior Manager, BCM.
    • Coordinate day-to-day BCM programme activities, follow up deliverables across business units and BCM workstreams, maintain documentation and evidence records, and escalate delivery risks or quality issues to the Senior Manager, BCM.
    • Provide functional guidance, coaching and knowledge transfer to BCM champions, recovery teams, contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding of BCM standards, targets, deliverables and escalation requirements.
    • Coordinate with the Operational Risk Management team to align BCM risk assessments, continuity KRIs, incident/loss-event learnings, emerging risk reporting and scenario analysis without duplicating or subsuming BCM deliverables.
    • Ensure continuity risks are captured in relevant risk registers while preserving BCM-specific concepts such as BIA, criticality, MTPD, RTO, RPO, recovery strategies, plan ownership, test evidence and resilience readiness.
    • Provide BCM inputs into enterprise resilience reporting and operational risk reviews, while escalating unresolved BCM gaps independently through the Senior Manager, BCM.
    • Support MTNN's mission (everyone deserves the benefits of a modern connected life), by ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
    • Track evolving regulatory requirements, emerging risks (cyber threats, pandemics, insecurity), and international standards (e.g., ISO 22301:2019, BCI GPG - 2023).

    Requirements
    Education:

    • First Degree in any business or technology related discipline
    • Fluent in English 
    • CBCI/AMBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer is desirable.

    Experience:

    • 3-7 years relevant experience in BCM, operational resilience, operational risk, crisis management related field/specialization
    • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders 
    • Experience working in a medium-large organization 
    • Practical BCM experience with strong understanding of telecoms processes, disaster recovery, RTO/RPO, recovery strategy development and incident response coordination.
