    Group Head - Technical Services

    Job Summary

    • We seek experienced and self-driven individuals to join our executive management team and contribute to our mission to re-establish leading position in our sector and create wealth for all stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the technical operations of the company’s Engineering Serices including TEchnical TRaining
    • Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve goals, improve efficiency, minimize downtime and reduce costs.
    • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
    • Lead and manage a team of technical staff, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
    • Manage the technical services budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and minimizing waste.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve technical operations

    Educational Qualifications

    • B.Sc or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Food Processing, or a related field. Advanced degree in a related field is an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 20 years of experience, 7 years of which must be in a technical leadership role in an Engineering Services Companyd ensuring high-quality service delivery levels

    Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and quality management systems.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal, skills.
    • Ability to think strategically, make informed decisions that align with business goals, lead and manage high-performing teams, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, analyze problems and implement effective solutions, adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines.
    • Strong understanding of business principles, including budgeting, cost control, and supply chain management.

    Business Development Consultant

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a qualified Business Consultant to help our clients reform their operations and support their business by providing intuitive guidance.
    • You will be an important ally to every organization who wants to invest in change and improvement and needs help as to where and how.
    • You will also undertake projects on behalf of the client’s business when it lacks resources or motive to perform them in-house.
    • A successful business consultant has first and foremost a broad knowledge of the many facets of business and market forces. The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (recruiting, payroll, promotional campaigns etc.) according to client’s requirements
    • Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of a problematic situation
    • Collect information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.)
    • Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes
    • Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s wishes, capabilities and limitations forming concise reports
    • Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
    • Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
    • Assist the client in implementing the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies
    • Provide guidance for any occurring problems and issues

    Requirements

    • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in a specialized business field will be an advantage
    • Proven experience as business consultant or equivalent
    • Knowledge of diverse business matters such as IT, Marketing, HR etc.
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Familiarity with a wide selection of business management software (CRM, ERP etc.) and databases
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills
    • Aptitude in creative problem-solving
    • Certified Management Consultantis a plus.
