Job Description

• Lightheights Global Services is currently hiring passionate and experienced Freelance Instructors to teach English and / or Mathematics for standardized test preparation and academic support programs.
• We are looking for dedicated professionals who can deliver engaging and result-oriented lessons, either remotely or in person, on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in English and/or Mathematics
• Prepare students for standardized tests such as SAT, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, or internal academic assessments
• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and performance goals
• Provide timely feedback and support to students
• Maintain a professional and student-centered learning environment

Requirements

• Strong background in English Language and/or Mathematics
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring for test prep (SAT, IELTS, GRE, etc.) is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to teach online and/or in person as needed
• Flexible and committed to delivering results

Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Academic Head of Department to lead our academic team and drive excellence in our test preparation programs.
• This is a full-time position for a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in teaching standardized test prep classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for the department
• Supervise and support instructors in delivering high-quality content
• Design, review, and update curricula for standardized tests and other academic programs
• Coordinate schedules, training sessions, and academic planning activities
• Ensure quality control and effective delivery of all academic services
• Teach standardized test prep classes, including SAT, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, and Duolingo, as needed
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes
• Prepare academic reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or related fields with 2 years work experience (Master’s Degree is an advantage)
• Proven experience in teaching at least two or more standardized tests: SAT, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, Duolingo, etc.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a team and lead academic programs to success
• Tech-savvy with a good command of virtual teaching tools and platforms.

Preferred Qualities:

• Prior experience as a department head or academic coordinator
• Passion for education and student success
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
