    Hospital Marketing Executive

    Job Overview:

    LECC is looking for an experienced Hospital Marketing Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving patient traffic to various specialties in the hospital, as well as increasing business from health insurance companies (HMOs) and corporate clients. This role requires someone with strong marketing skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and a passion for improving patient engagement and hospital visibility.

    Key Responsibilities:  

    Patient Traffic Generation:

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive patient traffic to the hospital’s various specialties (e.g., cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, etc.).
    • Identify target markets and segments to attract new patients through digital and traditional marketing channels.
    • Build relationships with patients to foster loyalty and repeat visits, utilizing follow-up strategies.

    Partnerships with HMOs and Insurance Companies:

    • Work closely with health insurance companies and HMOs to drive business and ensure the hospital is included in their networks.
    • Negotiate and establish new partnerships with insurance companies and ensure that existing partnerships are maintained.
    • Coordinate with the finance and operations team to ensure smooth patient onboarding and billing processes with insurance companies.

    Brand Awareness & Promotion:

    • Promote the hospital’s brand, specialties, and services through digital platforms, social media, traditional advertising, and public relations.
    • Organize and participate in marketing events, such as health fairs, seminars, and corporate health programs, to raise awareness about LECC’s services.
    • Create promotional materials (brochures, flyers, newsletters) to distribute to prospective patients and healthcare partners.

    Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Track and analyze patient acquisition metrics and marketing performance to evaluate and improve strategies.
    • Provide regular reports to management on marketing initiatives, patient traffic, and partnership growth.

    Collaboration & Coordination:

    • Work closely with the clinical team to understand the unique value propositions of each specialty and communicate those effectively to potential patients.
    • Collaborate with the administrative and customer service teams to ensure a seamless patient experience from initial contact to post-care follow-up.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, with a proven track record of driving patient acquisition and working with health insurance companies.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare marketing strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
    • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance.
    • Knowledge of the healthcare industry and familiarity with insurance companies and HMOs in Nigeria is an advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Care:

    Insurance Billing & Claims Management:

    • Oversee the entire billing process for health insurance claims, ensuring accurate and timely submission to insurance providers (HMOs).
    • Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims, including medical coding, billing codes, and patient information.
    • Resolve any discrepancies or issues with rejected claims, working closely with insurance companies and healthcare providers to ensure timely reimbursement.
    • Manage the submission of claims for both inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring that all charges are appropriately captured and billed.

    Team Management:

    • Lead and supervise the billing team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.

    Compliance & Documentation:
