    Accountant (FMCG)

    Job Description

    • We are looking to engage a business-savvy accountant for its branch atLekki Phase 1, Lagos. Preferred candidates must have prior experience in the FMCG sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting management in the decision-making process by monitoring the budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Coordinating the weekly and monthly stock taking
    • Examining financial records to check for accuracy
    • Ensure the brand's cash management and banking activities are efficiently carried out.
    • Handling the stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring
    • Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates for the brand.
    • Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, capital expenditure schedules, and the production of management reports for the brand.
    • Generate monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting.

    Reports Required:

    • Monthly P&L report
    • Monthly Stock Reconciliation and Variance Report.
    • Others.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance.
    • 2 - 3 years experience in the FMCG sector is a must
    • Proficiency in Excel is a must, and knowledge of Zohowill be an added advantage.
    • High Integrity, utmost confidentiality level.
    • Business savvy.

    Poultry Farm Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    • Management of the pen houses.
    • Direct training and monitoring of the pen attendants.
    • Visiting the different divisions to inspect pen, crops, feed and livestock.
    • Directing and supervising the attendants on what quantity of feed to serve, cleaning of the pen houses, and general wellbeing of both the staff, birds and the equipment.
    • Observing the birds, and report any cases of diseases or infections.
    • Reporting of any faulty equipment in each pen to the Production Manager
    • Record keeping of feeds, birds and the crates of eggs produced on daily basis
    • Advising the Manager on when to sell birds based on their productivity level.
    • Evaluating workers and maintaining discipline in the farm.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of OND / HND in Agriculture, Animal Science or equivalent.
    • 1 - 2 years relevant work experience with poultry farming is a MUST
    • Management experience would be a plus.
    • The ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to oversee a team, delegate and oversee tasks till completion.

    Remuneration

    • Salary: N100,000 Monthly.

    Restaurant Cashier

    Duties

    • Take customer orders at the counter.
    • Receive payments and present change to customers.
    • Pack food items neatly.
    • Appeal to impatient or irritated customers, especially during rush hours.
    • Manage the register, including all credit card and cash operations.
    • Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.

    Requirements

    • Candidates must have an OND qualification.
    • A minimum of 0 - 1 year of prior experience in a fast food restaurant is an added advantage.
    • Excellent mathematical and multitasking abilities.
    • Basic knowledge of computers and other machines required for transactions.
    • Outstanding customer relations skills and the ability to ensure a customer-priority culture

    Store Officer

    Duties

    • Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.
    • Monitor and take inventory on a regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
    • Receive all items and maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
    • Monitor periodic automatic reorder levels for all food items to ensure the availability of stock.
    • Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per agreed purchase, delivery note, and agreed quantity have been received
    • Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities' upkeep and hygiene.
    • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
    • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean and tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations
    • Ensure the store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and entered into the inventory/materials management system.
    • All invoices must be posted immediately upon receiving items.
    • Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues, ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures
    • Conduct an inventory audit to determine inventory levels and needs.
    • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
    • Work closely with Procurement to order and receive items and equipment.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of an OND qualification
    • At least 1 year of work experience in the same or related role is an added advantage for a fast food restaurant.
    • Inventory and market requisition knowledge
    • Excellent numerical skills and the ability to communicate well with others
    • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must.
    • The candidate must live inproximity to the location of choice.
    • Preferably male for gender balance

    Executive Assistant

    Duties

    • Handling basic book-keeping tasks.
    • Devise and maintain office filing system
    • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
    • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
    • Preparing reports, memos, invoices, letters, and other documents.
    • Respond accurately to information requests either by Staff or clients
    • Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.
    • Take dictation and minutes, prepare reports and documentation for meetings and appointments
    • Act as the point of contact between the Managing Director and Staff, and internal/external clients
    • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
    • Extensively manage e-mails including checking incoming/outgoing emails and following up with the Managing Director as necessary.
    • Working with the HR office to handle scheduling all staff meetings, coordinating the proceedings and accurately recording minutes from meetings.
    • Assist with other ad-hoc administrative and project requirements as needed
    • Observing best business practices and etiquette.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance
    • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Personal/Executive Assistant or in the administrative capacity.
    • Charismatic, coordinated and amiable.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to act on confidentiality at all times.
    • Proficiency in typing and report writing
    • Proactive problem solver and flexibility is important.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
    • Fast learner and must be able to pay attention to details.
    • In-depth knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and appointment scheduling software such as MS Outlook, as well as call forwarding.
    • Proximity to the job location is important
