    Quality Control Officer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
    • Conduct Product Tests and Assessment. 
    • Identify Product Defects. ...
    • Record and Report Issues. ...
    • Support Process Improvements. ...
    • Make Necessary sop implementation.
    • Reporting of any quality deviation
    • Timely sampling and analysis of raw materials and products, and communication of status(passed/failed). 
    • Support the initiation of internal audits as scheduled.
    • Follow through on assigned QMS Audit Corrective
    • Actions for implementation within the stipulated time frame
    • Personal improvement on QMS Audit guidelines
    • Supports investigation and closure of Consumer and Trade complaints.

    Education & Experience

    • BSC./HND in Microbiology, Chemical Engineering & other related disciplines with a minimum of 2 years experience in FMCG.
    • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suit.
    • Good leadership skills
    • A good knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices
    • Good Communication Skills.

    Planning Engineer

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • In association with MM/MC, prepare a maintenance strategy for the business unit and be responsible for execution of same.
    • Develop and ensure execution of maintenance activity plans.
    • Create job orders, schedule, and allocate maintenance work for plant or part of as assigned.
    • In tandem with maintenance controller, control scheduled maintenance activities on the lines or utilities.
    • Determine and arrange resources such as spares, tools and other materials as may be required for maintenance tasks.
    • Recommended maintenance mix and schedule improvements based on status reports of executed maintenance schedules.
    • Manage performance of business unit, self, and all other engineering maintenance staff.
    • Custodian of all engineering maintenance records including staff related matters.
    • Staff development actions including skill gap analysis, tools analysis, training plans etc.
    • Budget preparation, implementation, and cost monitoring.
    • Be the driver for process and equipment improvements using available improvement tools such as RCM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizens etc. to improve performance.
    • Responsible for standards development, publishing, and compliance (engineering, health, environment, safety, quality, and any other regulations that could affect engineering maintenance operations.
    • Responsible for maintenance information systems management including preparation of visual intrusions and other displays as required.
    • EM/FUE report preparations including but not limited to the end of week, or month or year management review templates, meeting minutes etc.
    • Measures/evaluates equipment efficiencies, downtime and assists in development of maintenance requirements – i.e., RCM implementation – until effective hand over to final user.
    • Any other tasks as may be assigned to him/her by line manager.

    QUALIFICATION:

    • Relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent certificate (HND).
    • 5 years’ experience in a technical position, most of which should have been a shop floor role.
    • Excellent degree of computer literacy especially MS Excel and ppt.
    • Good command of the English Language-Spoken and written.
    • Proven familiarity with budgeting procedures.
    • Significant experience with a measure of cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
    • Good understanding and experience of current manufacturing methodologies.
    • Good experience with all or SAP PM, Orion, Fixx or any other ERP systems.
    • Good understanding of plant HQSE modalities and codes.
    • Good oral communication, influencing and relationship skills.
    • Good analytical skills

    Mechanical Technician

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform installations and commissioning of new equipment.
    • Maintaining and repairing equipment

    • Minimum 3 Years in FMCG.
    • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Proficiency in mechanical design and diagnostic testing software.
