PURPOSE ​

Responsible for the coordination of mechanics for repairs of all assigned tractors, trailers and heavy-duty trucks, earth moving equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic system and turbo charged engines. assist in coordinating all workshop Improvement project with the goal to raise overall productivity by following through on all key performance indicators.

THE JOB​

• Experience on the repairs of trucks and engines/transmission
• Responsible for the repairs of all assigned tractors, trailers and heavy-duty trucks, earth moving equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic system and turbo charged engines and recovery of break-down trucks.
• Collection of spare parts from stores for the repair of trucks
• Ensures that all workshop areas under supervision are kept clean, tidy and safe
• Monitor assigned technicians and take actions to ensure assigned trailer / trucks are not work in progress for more than reasonable time.
• Ensure repairs time estimate are accurate and recorded appropriately
• Ensures effective assigning of jobs to mechanics
• Ensures repairs of accidented trucks and renovation of such truck to portray a good cooperate image of the company

THE PERSON MUST ​

• Have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively supervise staff, give instructions, and report workshop activities.
• Possess strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to coordinate technicians and ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Demonstrate solid technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or automotive workshop operations.
• Be able to plan, assign, and monitor jobs while ensuring quality control, safety standards, and company procedures are followed.
• Have good problem-solving, record-keeping, and basic computer skills for job tracking, inventory control, and reporting.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum requirement: HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Added advantage: Technical Knowledge

EXPERIENCE​

• Minimum : 3+ years
• Practical knowledge of ISO standards or equivalent for workshop operations.

PURPOSE ​

Operating proficiently and safely manufacturing equipment such as horizontal and vertical lathes, grinders, boring mills, key seaters, gear cutting equipment

THE JOB​

• Carrying out quality repairs on faulty gear boxes
• Proper diagnoses of faulty gear systems and mechanisms before repairing.
• ·Ensures that cost of gearbox repairs is reduced to the barest minimal.
• Taking adequate care and maintenance of gearbox tools.

THE PERSON MUST ​

• Have good verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical issues and solutions to clients and team members.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of gear systems, including gearboxes, transmissions, and differential systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical gear components and assemblies.
• Be proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, precision measuring instruments, and workshop equipment related to gear systems.
• Have a solid understanding of safety standards, maintenance procedures, and quality control practices within mechanical or industrial environments.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum requirement: Trade Test or ND in Mechanical Engineering
• Added advantage: Technical knowledge

EXPERIENCE​

• Minimum : 5 years in truck maintenance
• Added Advantage: 7 years in truck maintenance

PURPOSE ​

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the organization, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience for visitors, clients, and employees.

THE JOB​

• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a courteous and professional reception.
• Greet, register, and direct visitors in accordance with company security procedures.
• Issue visitor badges and ensure compliance with access control requirements.
• Receive, screen, and dispatch incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and courier packages.
• Maintain front desk records, visitor logs, and call registers.
• Ensure availability of reception and office supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Escalate facilities or maintenance issues affecting the front office.
• Support office security and emergency procedures when required.

THE PERSON MUST HAVE​

• Have good verbal and written communication skills to professionally receive visitors, answer calls, and handle inquiries.
• Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a polite, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage front desk operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and basic administrative tasks.
• Be proficient in the use of office equipment and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
• Be well-organized, attentive to detail, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum: One years’ experience as a Receptionist/Front Desk Officer
