    Facility Manager

    Role Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Manager that will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations and maintenance of Emzor’s pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
    • Your role ensures safety, functionality, compliance, and optimal use of infrastructure and services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily and preventive maintenance of infrastructure (plumbing, lighting, utilities, etc.)
    • Ensure optimal functioning of non-production systems – generators, compressors, water supply
    • Coordinate with security, janitorial, fumigation, and landscaping teams
    • Monitor cleanliness and functionality of restrooms, canteens, break rooms
    • Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, utilities, and contractor services
    • Enforce compliance with SOPs, HSE guidelines, NAFDAC, and NESREA regulations
    • Support audits by preparing facility-related reports and documentation
    • Supervise vendors, enforce SLAs, and monitor costs and facility-related budgets

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum 5 years experience in facility or general services management (preferably in Pharma or FMCG)
    • NEBOSH/HSE certification is an added advantage
    • Membership in a facility management body is a plus.

    Key Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of facility operations and safety compliance
    • Excellent communication, supervision, and documentation skills
    • Budget planning and vendor management experience.

    Plant Accountant

    Job Summary

    • The Plant Accountant is responsible for managing the financial accounting, costing, and reporting activities at the manufacturing plant.
    • The role ensures accurate cost tracking, inventory control, compliance, and provides financial insights to support plant operations and management decisions.

    Responsibilities

    Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and analyse product and process costs.
    • Track WIP, finished goods, scrap, and wastage.
    • Reconcile inventory records with physical stock counts.
    • Monitor/track evacuation of finished goods from production to warehouse and ensure they are reported electronically on ERP

    Financial Accounting & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate books of accounts for plant operations.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual plant reports.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
    • Support statutory and internal audits.

    Budgeting & Cost Control:

    • Prepare plant budgets and forecasts.
    • Track actual vs budgeted costs and investigate variances.
    • Support cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.

    Plant Operations Support:

    • Work closely with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
    • Monitor inter-organizational transfer of stocks from one location to another
    • Provide financial inputs for production planning and pricing.
    • Support make-or-buy and process optimization decisions.
    • Maintain internal controls and SOPs for plant accounting.
    • Ensure timely closing of plant accounts.
    • Conduct regular spot checks

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
    • A professional qualification (ICAN or ACCA equivalent) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in plant or manufacturing accounting

    Key Competencies:

    • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
    • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Good problem-solving skills.
