    Pipe Laying Technical Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop detailed technical plans for pipe laying operations (onshore and/or offshore).
    • Select appropriate laying methods (e.g., S-lay, J-lay, trenchless).
    • Ensure work complies with engineering standards, client requirements, and relevant codes (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
    • Oversee non-destructive testing (NDT), hydrostatic testing, and other QA/QC activities.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans, particularly for hazardous or manne environments.
    • Prepare and present progress reports, method statements, and technical documentation.
    • Resolve on-site technical issues, including alignment, depth control, or welding challenges.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field from a reputable University, Must be a member of NSE or possess COREN Certification.
    • 7-12 years in pipeline construction or installation projects.
    • Experience in managing large-scale or complex projects, especially offshore or cross-country pipelines.
    • Prior work with EPC contractors or large infrastructure companies is often preferred.

    Technical Field Service Engineer

    Main Responsibilities 

    • Execute complex installation and commissioning of proprietary/OEM equipment and systems, ensuring full integration with existing infrastructure.
    • Ensure equipment operates in compliance with international codes (API, ASME, ISO, IEC) and OEM specifications.
    • Lead failure investigations and recommend engineering solutions to maintain asset integrity.
    • Deliver specialized training to local engineers/technicians on proprietary systems, advanced diagnostic tools, and OEM maintenance procedures.

    Reservoir Development Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of reservoir management strategies to optimize recovery and extend asset life.
    • Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, and production engineering teams to design integrated development plans.
    • Ensure alignment of reservoir management activities with HSE requirements and corporate governance.
    • Manage reservoir engineering budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate technical studies for field development planning, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) evaluation, and infill drilling opportunities.

    Requirements

    Head of Maintenance and Inspection Services

    Main Responsibilities 

    • Define and implement maintenance and inspection in alignment with API, ASME, ISO 55000, and international asset integrity standards.
    • Lead risk-based inspection (RBI) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) analyses to optimize inspection intervals and reduce unplanned shutdowns.
    • Direct root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and forensic engineering investigations. -Integrate predictive maintenance systems (Al/loT sensors, vibration monitoring corrosion monitoring).
    • Drive digital transformation of maintenance through CMMS, EAM, and asset performance management (APM) platforms.
    • Act as the technical authority for maintenance and inspection activities, ensuring alignment with OEM recommendations and industry best practices.

    Job Requirements

    • B.Sc / B.Eng. in the required Engineering discipline or its equivalent
    • 8 years in maintenance and inspection in oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
    • Proven track record in asset integrity management, reliability engineering, and maintenance strategy.
    • Member of Nigerian Society of Engineers/COREN.

    Project Front End Development and Technical Interface Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Define and manage strategies for front-end development and technical maturation for all company projects and opportunities. and realisation process up to DG-3 handover.
    • Manage the technical interface between existing assets and various projects (including plant, Greenfield & brownfield development, gas supply inlets, etc.).
    • Accountable for technical deliverables pre-DG3 for all assigned projects, deploying necessary resources to manage key project deliverables, including PCAP, Risk Register and Management Plan, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Impact Assessment, Project Schedule and Cost Estimate to support the project to Define Phase.

    Project Assurance Advisor

    Responsibilities

    • Coordination and maintenance of all requirements of project assurance, specifically around the development and successful implementation of the Opportunity Assurance Plan (OAP) and Project Control & Assurance Plan (PCAP) elements and contribute to maintaining ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System in place.
    • Provide HSSE&SP Assurance Services directly or through an accredited 3rd party, covering the following; Assurance services for validation of EPC compliance with ESHMP and Lenders Recommendations.

    Site Construction Superintendent

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and supervise all site construction, fabrication, and installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and international codes (API, ASME, AWS, ISO, IEC).
    • Ensure the right level of quality on the worksite and work with Contractor to achieve project requirement with regards to QA.
    • Ensure proper liaison with the rest of the ECP entity to guaranty adequate coordination within the team for construction activities.

    Requirements

    Technical Construction Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Initiate, plan and execute construction activities of Infrastructure or Plant projects in the approved portfolio to agreed standards (Cost, Schedule, and Quality), ready to operate as defined in each project's Final Investment Decision while meeting NLNG's Goal Zero HSE Objectives. Scope includes all activities to initiate the projects, progress through the various Decision Gates, obtain FID, execute, commission and close out the projects.

    Offshore Technical Authority Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Define and enforce technical standards, engineering practices, and codes of compliance.
    • Provide final approval on technical design, modifications, and deviations from standards.
    • Sign-off authority for critical engineering documents, risk assessments, and safety cases.

    Offshore Operations Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee multiple offshore assets (rigs, platforms, FPSOs, or vessels)
    • Align offshore operations with corporate business strategy and long-term objectives.
    • Lead optimization initiatives to reduce downtime and maximize production efficiency.
    • Drive advanced safety management systems (SMS) and lead complex risk assessments

    • Specialized offshore certificates depending on role (DP - Dynamic Positioning, Crane/Lifting Operations, Marine Engineering). Must possess COREN.
