    Offshore Technical Authority Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Define and enforce technical standards, engineering practices, and codes of compliance.
    • Provide final approval on technical design, modifications, and deviations from standards.
    • Sign-off authority for critical engineering documents, risk assessments, and safety cases.
    • Provide expert guidance during offshore operations, shutdowns, and start-ups.
    • Troubleshoot complex technical problems beyond the scope of operations teams.
    • Lead hazard identification (HAZID), hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), and failure mode assessments (FMEA).

    Requirements

    • A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, Structural, Process, Subsea, etc.) from a reputable University 9 years in offshore oil & gas, energy, or marine engineering.
    • At least 5 years in a senior technical authority/discipline lead role.
