    Warehouse Officer / Storekeeper

    Warehouse Officer / Storekeeper
    Location: Maryland, Lagos
    Employment Type: Full-time

    Job Description

    • The Warehouse Officer is responsible for organizing and fulfilment of all inventory and asset keeping activities performed across the warehouses.
    • The Warehouse Officer is responsible for the Accuracy and Reporting of all inventory in the warehouse.
    • Carry out careful and proper stacking/sorting/labelling of goods/products in storage.
    • Responsible for timely release, receipt, loading and off-loading of stock and non-stock items.
    • Ensure company ERP and documentation records match physical records at all times.
    • Transfer of products from the warehouse/store to the showrooms and vice versa.
    • Conduct weekly/periodic Audit of stock and deliveries on the ERP and report irregularities via official means.
    • Perform such inventory and delivery activities and procedures as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
    • Conduct daily hygiene and safety management of stock, the warehouse tools and equipment

    Requirements

    • HND / BSc in Supply Chain or related field.
    • 3-5 years experience, as a Storekeeper, Inventory Officer, or other relevant roles.
    • Ideal candidate must demonstrate teachability, humility and a can-do attitude.
    • Good use of computer nad report writing skills.

    Salary

    • N90,000 - N110,000 monthly.

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing, compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial and Transactional data.
    • Generating periodic financial reports for management.
    • Ensuring consistent accurate financial records.
    • Executing regular audits and resolving discrepancies.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, Management or a related field.
    • 7 - 10 years of experience.
    • ICAN / ACCA Certification
    • Robust accounting knowledge
    • Must have knowledge of Quickbook Accounting.
    • Must know how to use Quickbook to prepare monthly management report, cost accounting etc.
    • Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and Accounts procedures.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze information and processes.

    Clearing and Forwarding Executive

    Job Description

    • Obtain an accurate Check List and check all documents to avoid errors, identify missing documents, and/or identify potential issues.
    • Opening of form M / LC Application to import.
    • Handling timely order execution & documentation like Pre & Post shipment documents.
    • Manage customs documentation for clearing and forwarding.
    • Ensure timely clearing of goods at the ports to their final destination.
    • Liaising with the shipping company on all issues with consignment.
    • Administering import procedures and documentation and effective liaison with Nigerian Customs / Logistics.
    • Interface with all the government-approved regulatory agencies in connection with the required documents and certifications.
    • Managing demurrages, port charges within specified norms.
    • Managing the seamless movement of the consignments to the final destination.
    • Liaising with Port authorities & customs officials, monitoring compliance to regulatory requirements, and maintaining requisite papers & documents.
    • Coordinating with Port Authorities for various requirements connected to the vessels handling at the ports.

    Air Freights:

    • Collection of documents from the airlines/carrier.
    • Ensure that the documents are collected promptly from the airline
    • Ensure that the quality standard of the company is maintained during clearing and after clearing all of all consignment
    • To handle and follow up on all air shipments.
    • Monitor all company shipments at the ports.
    • Handles clearing of air shipment.
    • Process export clearance for all export shipments.
    • Handles preparation of PAAR and Form M.
    • Handle all air export and ensure that there is no delay.
    • To ensure that after clearing all original and necessary documents are returned to the office to be filed in the customer file.
    • Collection of storage, FAAN and other third-party debit note.
    • To ensure that all storage, FAAN and other third-party debit note charges are accurate and correct.
    • Collection of customs duty assessment.
    • Collection of all debit note and payment receipt.
    • Arranging and organizing delivery based on Operation head instruction after shipment clearing.

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc Degree in any discipline.
    • 5 - 7 years experience in a Clearing & Forwarding Company in Nigeria.
    • Proficiency in international documentation, LC, Shipping processes, bill of lading.
    • Previous experience working with customs brokers, forwarders, and international partners
    • Must have Operational knowledge of the ports and government agencies.
    • Must have knowledge of proper clearing and haulage documentation for imports.
    • Must have appropriate knowledge of inspection agents, Banks, shipping companies, and Terminals.
    • Must have the ability to handle customs and shipping companies for imports, temporary importation, and Exports.
    • Must have knowledge of the customs and Excise HS Code and Explanatory notes.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.

    Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Duty)

    Job Description

    • Handle repairs, replacement, and maintenance of heavy duty diesel and hydraulic machineries.
    • Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues
    • Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
    • Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
    • Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
    • Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
    • Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
    • Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
    • Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles.

    Requirements

    • SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
    • 3 - 7 years experience.
    • Accurate report writing skills
    • Able to handle diesel and hydraulic machinery repairs.

    Remuneration

    • N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly
