    Assistant Division Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Oil Palm Division Assistant supports the Divisional Manager in the day-to-day supervision and management of field operations within the oil palm plantation.
    • The role focuses on monitoring field activities, labour performance, crop maintenance, harvesting, and ensuring adherence to agronomic best practices for optimum yield and sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Divisional Manager in planning, organizing, and monitoring all field activities within the assigned division.
    • Supervise daily field operations including planting, weeding, pruning, fertilizer application, and harvesting.
    • Ensure proper maintenance of oil palm stands in accordance with estate standards and agronomic practices.
    • Monitor labour attendance, performance, and productivity to ensure efficiency in operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of field operations, input usage, and harvested output.
    • Conduct routine field inspections to identify pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and report promptly.
    • Assist in the coordination of machinery, tools, and logistics needed for daily operations.
    • Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards among field workers.
    • Support the implementation of sustainable agricultural and soil conservation practices.
    • Prepare periodic progress and performance reports for management review.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • HND / B.Sc. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in oil palm plantation operations or agricultural field supervision.
    • Good understanding of oil palm cultivation practices and plantation management.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills

    Mill Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities
    Operational Supervision:

    • Supervise and coordinate daily milling activities, including reception, sterilization, threshing, pressing, clarification, and kernel recovery.
    • Monitor process parameters to ensure maximum oil extraction rate (OER) and minimum losses.
    • Ensure that equipment is operated according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    Production & Quality Control:

    • Monitor the quality of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and finished products to meet company and regulatory standards.
    • Maintain production records, prepare daily operational reports, and submit them to the Mill Manager.
    • Implement measures to reduce waste, improve yield, and optimize efficiency.

    Team Management:

    • Supervise mill operators, maintenance crew, and other assigned personnel.
    • Train, mentor, and guide staff to ensure skill development and adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Assign tasks and monitor staff performance, taking corrective actions when necessary.

    Maintenance & Safety:

    • Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance of mill equipment.
    • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Report any breakdowns or safety hazards immediately and follow up on corrective measures.

    Inventory & Resource Control:

    • Monitor and manage stock levels of mill consumables, chemicals, and spare parts.
    • Ensure proper storage and usage of chemicals in line with safety requirements.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields
    • 3 - 5 years experience in palm oil milling operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of milling processes, palm oil machinery, and quality control procedures.
    • Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mill reporting systems.
    • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
    • Must be willing to relocate to anywhere in the Country

    Preferred:

    • Experience in implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
    • Knowledge of ISO, RSPO, or other quality and sustainability standards in palm oil production.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, based on operational needs.

    Division Officer

    Job Objective

    • Monitor and improve oil palm yields through effective agronomic practices, pest control, and irrigation management within the division.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily plantation operations (land preparation, planting, harvesting, and post-harvest).
    • Implement best agronomic and crop management practices.
    • Drive yield optimization and maintain product quality standards.
    • Manage pest and disease control using Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
    • Monitor performance and prepare periodic reports.
    • Control costs and manage divisional budgets effectively.
    • Supervise irrigation and promote water efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and sustainability standards.
    • Lead, supervise, and develop field teams to improve productivity.

    Requirements

    • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or related fields
    • Experience: 3 - 7 years in oil palm plantation; at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role
    • Certifications (Optional): CAT, CCA, CPAG.

    Mill Manager (Oil Palm)

    Job Objective

    • Improve mill productivity and efficiency while ensuring consistent production of high-quality oil.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and oversee mill operations to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
    • Develop production schedules and control operating costs.
    • Ensure equipment reliability through effective maintenance programs.
    • Maintain quality standards for CPO and PKO through robust quality control systems.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental regulations.
    • Manage waste, risk, and operational safety.
    • Lead and develop mill teams to drive performance and productivity.
    • Manage budgets, inventory, and raw material sourcing.
    • Coordinate logistics and ensure timely product delivery.
    • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization.

    Requirements

    • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
    • Experience: 5–10 years in oil palm milling operations with leadership experience
    • Certifications (Optional): CPOP, CMM, CQM.
