    Business Operations Support Officer

    Job Overview

    The Business Operations Support Officer:

    • Business Support Officers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily business operations by managing tasks such as handling correspondence, maintaining records, organizing meetings, and coordinating schedules. They may also assist with data entry, report generation and general office management.
    • Business Support Officers serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to efficient communication and facilitating collaboration across the organization. Their role is vital in promoting productivity and supporting the overall success of the business.
    • Provides administrative and operational assistance to various departments within a company.
    • Is expected to operate with some degree of autonomy in respect to their day to day work priorities
    • Obtains direction, instruction and advice from their manager regarding work priorities and consults on significant issues or conflicts arising during work performed.
    • Refers to their manager all matters which require a higher delegated authority such as approval/sign-off of briefings and papers for matters requiring submission to the Chief Executive

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Creates and maintains records and data in a range of systems to capture, action and monitor information.
    • Generate reports and analyze information.
    • Schedule and organize meetings.
    • Prepare agendas and take minutes and assist in organizing company events, handle travel arrangements and bookings.
    • Provide technical support to customers and staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
    • Processing regulatory permits, licenses, operational certificates including renewals
    • Generate sales reports, analyze sales data, and document processes.
    • Provide administrative support to staff as needed.
    • Creation and management of documents, including project status reports, account documentation, and product marketing materials.
    • Facilitate good communication between and provide assistance for teams working on a project, including the marketing, sales and business development, and technical teams.
    • Analyze data, report daily performance and use it to create reports on industry trends, which will be used to develop business plans.
    • Develop new relationships and maintain good relationships with existing customers and clients.
    • Training and onboarding of new business development/sales team members.
    • Organize and attend client meetings as well as meetings for internal staff; take notes during team meetings and compilation of attendance.
    • Manage databases, report project details and progress to the appropriate manager on a regular basis.
    • Achieving other duties assigned by the line manager.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Business Operations Officer/Business Support Associate
    • Relevant qualification/  Experience in Business Administration Support and / or experience in providing business operations support services.
    • Minimum of HND in Business Management, Sales, Engineering, Marketing or relevant fields
    • Equivalent experience in a related field.
    • Proven experience in system administration and technical support.
    • Knowledge of Windows, Mac operating systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Experience with forecasting models and Data Analysis
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Excel
    • Great Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Teamwork and Project Management
    • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

    Sales/Business Development Engineer

    Job Description

    We require a young self motivated, dynamic, resourceful person to fill an open position in our company as a Sales and Business Development Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements;
    • Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
    • Providing pre-sales & after-sales technical assistance, product education to clients on Instrumentation/Quality Control /Electrical apparatus Testing & Measurement/Analytical/Process Monitroing/Industriial Automation products and equipment;
    • Generating Sales Inquiries and responding to Request For Quotes and inquiries from Clients.
    • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects;
    • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events;
    • Starting-up, maintaining, calibrating, testing and troubleshooting a wide variety of Instruments, process monitoring & Controlling Instruments, industrial instruments.
    • Liaising with clients, suppliers, Principals and relevant authorities
    • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
    • Promoting Company’s product portfolio and lines of representation amongst current and prospective clients by Emails, Cold Calls and Scheduled Visits.
    • Preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
    • Identifying sales prospects and following up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
    • Preparing presentations, proposals, quotes, Purchase Orders, Invoices and sales contracts.
    • Following up on submitted quotations, specification queries, submitted invoices.
    • Developing and maintaining sales and marketing materials.
    • Providing content management for the company\'s websites and e-commerce sites;
    • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
    • Preparing a variety of status reports, including activity, closing, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
    • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management, directory maintenance, logistics, equipment inventory and storage
    • Performing multifaceted general office support
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate (minimum) qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics.
    • Preferably Male Candidates.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 Years Prior Work Experience in Similar Job
    • Supervision Ability of Junior Staff
    • Able to quickly assimilate new technical knowledge and interested in building a career with a growth-oriented Company.
    • Solid organizational and planning skills.
    • Good command of English.
    • Commercial acumen and the ability to promote a technical solution as a value for money exercise
    • Computer literacy, especially with regard to modern scientific user interfaces, document and presentation preparation and report writing
    • An understanding of business management systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and knowledge of a CRM tool is an asset
    • Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
    • Extensive travel within and outside Lagos are an essential part of the job.
