Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
• This position is strictly open to candidates residing in or around Odogunyan, Ikorodu; applicants outside this area will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage monthly payroll for all employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance for employee data updates and reporting.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports for management review.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll management or HR administration.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Must be a resident of Ikorodu.

Job Summary

• ISPAT Steel is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our operations team in Apapa, Lagos.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse or production area while ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.

Job Summary

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of the 33kV / 11kV Switchyard, 33/11kV power transformers, HT/LT switchgear, protection relays, and entire power distribution network that supplies the steel plant (melting, rolling, utilities, and auxiliary sections).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation and maintenance of 33kV Switchyard, 33/11kV & 11/0.433kV transformers, VCBs, ACBs, SF6 breakers, and associated HT panels.
• Supervise and execute preventive & predictive maintenance of all substation equipment, CTs, PTs, LA, isolators, and earthing systems.
• Prepare daily/monthly reports on power consumption, breakdowns, and switchyard performance.

Requirements

• B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (Power option preferred)
• 5–10 years hands-on experience in 33kV / 11kV Switchyard & substation maintenance in steel, cement, oil & gas, or heavy manufacturing industry.
