    NAV Techno Functional Consultant

    Brief Job Description

    TThe role would be accountable to serve as an in-house expert for Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV). Specifically, the consultant will focus on the delivery and implementation of Microsoft NAV ERP solutions, ranging from NAV 2016 to 2018. As a member of our Professional Services team, you will participate in numerous projects, working with both existing clients and new business implementations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business requirements analysis and documentation

    • Perform business requirements analysis and documentation
    • Contribute to project teams through workshops and ERP implementations

    Data conversion and testing

    • Create strategies for data conversion and testing
    • Validate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    Budget and scope of work and Training

    • Manage individual budget and scope of work
    • Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
    • Train users on new process and Dynamics NAV functionality

    Experience & Qualifications

    • At least 7+ years’ functional experience in implementing Microsoft NAV 2013 or 2016 – NAV 2018 is required. Experience with ISV products such as Charge Logic, Lanham E-Ship, Scribe Insight and Jet Reports is a plus
    • Graduate, MBA preferred
    • 3 or 4-year degree in business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent experience required. CPA will be an added advantage
    • More than 7 years of Functional knowledge of the finance, distribution, and production granules. Experience in functionality such as CRM, Projects, MRP and WMS is a plus
    • Experience with core business processes such as Accounting, Distribution and Manufacturing. Minimum 5-years hands-on experience with full life-cycle implementations
    • Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures related to small-to-mid sized business processes. Previous ERP implementation experience in a similar set up is a plus

    Sr. Manager – Plant Administration

    The incumbent will be a crucial member of the Administration team responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Plant Administration, ensuring efficient operations, facility management, and stakeholder engagement.
    The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to implement administrative Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plant Administration Management:

    1. Oversee and manage the entire scope of Plant Administration, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
    2. Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
    3. Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment for all employees and visitors

    Facility management, canteen operations, and transport logistics:

    1. Manage the upkeep and maintenance of plant facilities, ensuring a conducive working environment
    2. Collaborate with relevant teams to address facility-related issues promptly
    3. Supervise canteen operations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and timely service
    4. Manage transport logistics for employees, optimizing routes and schedules

    Stakeholder Management and SOP:

    1. Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives
    2. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and government authorities as required
    3. Develop and implement standardized administrative SOPs, ensuring consistent and efficient processes
    4. Monitor adherence to SOPs and recommend improvements as needed

    Experience & Qualifications

    1. Minimum of 10 Years of Administration with facility management, canteen operations, and transport logistics experience Plant Administration experience in Steel/ Manufacturing set up. Africa experience would be an added advantage
    2. Graduate, MBA preferred
    3. Minimum 10 years of experience in plant administration or a related role, with a demonstrated track record of progressive Responsibility. Experience working in a Steel/Mining Sector
    4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proficiency in implementing and improving administrative SOPs
