    Medical Sales Representative (Detailing Reps-Edo)

    Qualifications·

    • Preferably BSc Pharmacy or any other related field
    • At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical (detailing) Rep.
    • Strong negotiation and sales skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent networking skills
    • Must possess a high level of integrity and responsibility

    Key Responsibilities

    • Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
    • Make presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in GP surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with medical staff and support administrative staff
    • Keep detailed records of all contacts – build a strong customer data base
    • Regularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
    • Keep up to date with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, interpret, present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations
    • Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products
    • Keep up to date with new developments, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly

    Customer Service

      Requirements         

    • B.sc/HND in social sciences or related courses 
    • Minimun of 2 years work experience in similar position 
    • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

     Job Responsibilities 

    • Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
    • Answer client inquiry & generate sales leads
    • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file document
    • Take the extra mile to engage customers
