    Site Lifting Specialist

    CLIENT SUMMARY

    The client is a global integrated energy company that produces and markets energies.

    CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

    • Ubeta Project is a pre-FID (Final Investment Decision) Engineering, Procurement, Construction, installation and commissioning of UBETA Wellpad to Obite treatment centre by 11km pipeline, HV power, and Fibre optics cable.
    • The project is situated on OML58 near Port-Harcourt in Nigeria (onshore)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Continually liaise with the CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards withinCOMPANY are consistently respected within JV Offshore sites.
    • Advice OML99, OML100 and OML102 RSES on issues pertaining to lifting and handling operations.
    • Constantly liaise with contractors in order to ensure that their lifting equipment and operations are in congruence with the company lifting and handling procedure
    • Carry out periodic lifting audits in OML99, OML100 and OML102.
    • Develop a rigging loft procedure and ensure that the rigging loft is properly and adequately controlled
    • Work in conjunction with other lifting team to ensure that lifting equipment and lifting standards are respected in the day-to-day operations.
    • Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on Site to be submitted to the final review and approval of the CPLO.
    • Participate in JSA of critical lifts and attends all critical lifts carried out within JV offshore.
    • Provides expertise in day-to-day handling and lifting activities on site, which include categorizing lifts, hazard identifications and risk assessment, technical review (lifting procedures and organizations),
    • Assists the CPLO during assessment of personnel competence to carry out lifting and handling operations.
    • Ensure that toolbox talk is performed by all personnel at the beginning of each critical lifting operation.
    • Performs technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selects lifting equipment proposed for use on sites
    • Prepare generic lift plans and carry out its periodic reviews.
    • Develops a Site lifting and handling procedures / instructions and ensure its periodic review.
    • Coaches and mentors’ personnel involved in lifting and handling operations (crane operators& riggers, etc.) onsite.
    • Liaise with COMPANY approved 3rd party inspection companies for the Lifting Equipment inspection and certification campaign.

    HSE OBJECTIVES

    • Ensures that all applicable Company Rules (e.g. CR EP HSE 043) and COMPANY Lifting Procedures (Lifting Management System) regarding handling & lifting operations are well understood and applied by all personnel involved in lifting operations.
    • Ensure that the SLS Pre-lift Checklist is completed and signed prior to the lifting operation.
    • Responsible for the application of appropriate procedures and methodologies to ensure that major hazards associated with lifting operations in JV Offshore sites are properly assessed and managed in line with the Lifting Management System (LMS)

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Technical Engineering degree
    • 3 years verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations
    • Possession of LEEA/NSL up to Level 4
    • Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations within affiliate.
    • Ability to prepare or review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.
    • Good knowledge of English

    SERVICE SCHEME AND LOCATIONS

    • Offshore Nigeria or other Nigerian onshore WORKSITE(S) as designated by COMPANY
    • Rotational scheme: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off, 7 days per week, 12 hours a day, either day shift or night shift. However, these durations may be subject to adjustment by COMPANY due to operational or transportation reasons.

    Operations Planning Lead

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Operations Planning Lead will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and optimizing operations activities with the JV, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to production schedules.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement detailed operational plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with JV objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
    • Coordinate with Drilling, Completions, and Production teams to ensure integrated planning.
    • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of resources for production activities.
    • Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.

    Principal, Well Delivery Lead

    JOB SUMMARY
    This role requires a deep understanding of reservoir engineering principles, geology, and production operations to maximize hydrocarbon recovery, ensure economic efficiency, and contribute to the company’s long-term production goals.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Well Planning and Design:

    Cost Management

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in well delivery, drilling, and completions within the upstream oil and gas sector.
    • Extensive knowledge of onshore and offshore drilling operations, with a track record of successful well delivery projects in Nigeria.
    • Previous experience working on challenging assets such as OML blocks or similar fields.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian oil and gas regulations and compliance requirements.
    • IWCF Well Control Certification or equivalent is mandatory.

    Development Lead

    JOB SUMMARY

    JOB SUMMARY
