    Finance Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial insights, monitoring key performance metrics across business segments, and supporting strategic decision-making. The individual will work closely with segment heads to analyze financial performance, forecast future trends, and ensure alignment with the overall business objectives

    Job Details

    • Track financial performance across various business segments, including Target Savings, Ecosystem Partnerships, Salary, CASA, Corporate, Merchant, and Banking-as-a-Service segments. 
    • Develop financial models, conduct scenario analysis, and provide accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning. 
    • Analyze revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability metrics to provide recommendations for business growth and efficiency. 
    • Monitor segment-specific KPIs, including deposits, loans disbursed, NPL ratios, active account ratios, digital adoption, and service usage penetration. 
    • Collaborate with business unit heads to provide financial guidance and ensure financial goals align with corporate strategy. 
    • Evaluate budget vs. actual performance, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. 
    • Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. 
    • Identify financial risks across business segments and propose mitigation strategies. 
    • Provide insights into cost control, pricing strategies, and revenue maximization initiatives.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA, ICAN) is preferred. 
    • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering. 
    • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong advantage. 
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis tools. 
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. 
    • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

    Head, Corporate Banking Business Segment

    Job Summary

    • The Head, Corporate Business Segment at VBank will be responsible for driving strategic growth, developing tailored financial solutions, and expanding corporate banking relationships. The role involves overseeing corporate client acquisition, deposit mobilization, loan disbursement, and service penetration while ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.

    Job Details

    • Develop and execute strategies to achieve corporate banking targets, including N200B in deposits and N150B in loans disbursed.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring at least 100K corporate customers are onboarded. 
    • Drive adoption of multiple banking products by ensuring 100% of corporate clients use at least two VBank products.
    • Oversee the structuring of financial solutions such as working capital financing, project financing, term loans, and cash management.
    • Monitor and improve corporate customer engagement, ensuring a 98% active customer ratio.
    • Work with internal teams to enhance digital banking solutions and streamline transaction processes for corporate clients.
    • Ensure adherence to compliance, risk management, and regulatory guidelines in all corporate banking activities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in corporate banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of corporate financial services, credit analysis, and risk management.
    • Excellent relationship management, business development, and negotiation skills.

    Head, CASA Business Segment

    Job Summary

    • The Head, CASA Business Segment is responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) segment. This includes developing and executing initiatives to attract low-cost deposits, improve liquidity, and enhance digital banking adoption.

    Job Details

    • Develop and implement strategies to increase CASA deposits and improve customer acquisition.
    • Drive the expansion of digital banking adoption, ensuring all CASA transactions are digital.
    • Monitor and improve the active CASA accounts ratio to meet targets.
    • Establish cross-selling initiatives, ensuring at least 90% of CASA customers use an additional banking product.
    • Collaborate with product, technology, and marketing teams to enhance digital banking solutions.
    • Identify and implement cost-effective measures to improve CASA transaction flow and profitability.
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers and partners to enhance deposit mobilization.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail banking, deposit mobilization, or digital banking, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of deposit management, digital banking solutions, and customer acquisition strategies.
    • Proven ability to drive large-scale deposit growth and financial inclusion initiatives.
    • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
