    Logistics Officer

    Job Summary

    This role oversees and coordinates all logistics activities to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of jobs to customers. This includes efficient planning and execution of transportation and delivery for both foreign and local materials.

    Job Details

    • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements for both local and international material shipments.
    • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with logistics providers and freight forwarders for local and foreign deliveries.
    • Plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of materials to ensure timely fulfillment of customer and production needs.
    • Prepare and verify all required shipping and logistics documentation, including invoices, Form M, packing lists, product certificates, and waybills.
    • Liaise with customs officials and clearing agents to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported goods.
    • Raise requisitions and follow up on payments for local transporters and international freight forwarders.
    • Monitor emails and coordinate with the supply chain team regarding transportation requests for both local and imported materials.
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer delivery preferences and arrange transportation for both client pick-ups and direct deliveries.
    • Organize material pick-up from local and international suppliers, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
    • Track and follow up with suppliers, forwarders, transporters, and customs on the status of shipments and deliveries.
    • Maintain regular communication with logistics partners to stay updated on the movement and delivery status of all materials.
    • Proactively resolve delivery issues or delays to minimize impact on operations and customer satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or a related field.
    • A recognized certification in logistics or supply chain management is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role.

    IT Supervisor

    Job Summary

    This role aligns IT operations with business objectives, overseeing the implementation of secure and efficient technology solutions, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards across the Company.

    Job Details

    • Drive the development and implementation of IT strategy and policies in line with the company’s strategic plan and objectives 
    • Develop and manage the planning and budgeting for IT services to ensure that resources are used to provide best in class IT services that are in line with the strategy 
    • Develop controls for emerging technologies and integrate with organization initiatives to drive secure strategies and deployment. 
    • Supervise and lead the IT support team, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and mentorship. 
    • Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to higher-level IT staff or external vendors as needed. 
    • Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring optimal performance and security. 
    • Ensure timely and effective support for end-users, manage ticket queues, and prioritize requests based on urgency and impact. 
    • Coordinate and manage IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades, system implementations, and network enhancements. 
    • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures, including data backup, disaster recovery, and user access controls. 
    • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of IT systems and services. 
    • Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible. 
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements, supporting audits and reviews as needed. 
    • Generate regular reports on IT performance, incidents, and project progress for management review.  

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
    • Relevant industry certifications are an added advantage. 
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT support, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role. 
    • Hands-on experience with operating systems, network configurations, and troubleshooting. 
    • Experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. 
    • Proven experience in managing IT projects from conception through to completion, including software upgrades, hardware installations, and system implementations. 
    • Proficiency in network administration, server management, and enterprise-level software applications. 
    • Solid understanding of IT security principles, with practical experience implementing and managing security protocols. 
    • Develop and enforce controls for emerging technologies, ensuring secure and strategic deployment within the organization.  
    • Supervise and lead the IT support team, fostering a high-performance environment through task delegation, performance monitoring, training, and mentorship.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
    • Relevant certifications in supply chain management (e.g., Sigma 6, Lean Certification, CIPS, APICS) are a plus.
    • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in supply chain management or related roles, with a proven track record in procurement and logistics.
    • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships, with knowledge of local and international markets.
    • Proficient in supply chain management software tools e.g ERP
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, environmental standards, and sustainability practices in supply chain management.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
