    Strategy Manager

    We are seeking an experienced Strategy Manager with a strong background in the shipping and logistics industry to drive our company’s long-term growth and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of strategy experience, deep familiarity with frontline shipping and logistics operations, and a proven ability to translate market insights into actionable, results-oriented strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic direction at the leadership level while working closely with operational teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution in a fast-paced, global industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of the company’s strategic plan in alignment with market dynamics and organizational goals.
    • Partner with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, assess market entry strategies, and evaluate M&A or partnership prospects.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives with clear KPIs, timelines, and accountability frameworks.
    • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate closely with frontline operations teams to ensure strategic initiatives reflect real-world logistics and shipping realities.
    • Drive cross-functional projects that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
    • Prepare strategic briefs, board-level presentations, and performance dashboards for executive review.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
    • 5–8 years of professional experience in strategy, with a strong preference for candidates who have managed strategy functions within the shipping and logistics industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of frontline shipping and logistics operations, including port operations, freight management, vessel chartering, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery ecosystems.
    • Proven ability to work at the intersection of strategy and execution in complex, asset-intensive environments.
    • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills.
    • Experience with strategic planning tools, scenario analysis, and performance management frameworks.
    • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems is an added advantage.

    HSE Senior Executive (Sagamu)

    We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join our project construction site team. The successful candidate will ensure a safe and healthy work environment, promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular project HSE inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement controls.
    • Implement contractor management systems, Permit to work systems, Safe work methods and Job safety assessments. 
    • Implement HSE policies and procedures for the project construction site.
    • Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors, visitors. 
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
    • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. OSHA, OHS, EMS, Food safety).
    • Collaborate with project team to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into construction activities.
    • Conduct risk assessments for construction activities (e.g. excavation, lifting, etc.)
    • Coordinate and implement emergency response plans (e.g. fire, accident, etc.)
    • Ensure proper maintenance of HSE equipment and facilities.
    • Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings with site staff and contractors.
    • Monitor and enforce PPE usage and compliance. Perform PPE compliance audits. 
    • Review and update HSE documentation where applicable. 
    • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and authorities. (OGEPA, FMenv, Fire service etc)
    • Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and contractual obligations

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Science, Engineering or Environmental related field.
    • (HSE Level 3 Minimum, NEBOSH is added advantage).
    • 5+ years of experience in HSE role, preferably in construction industry.
    • Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to conduct project risk assessment and HSE assurance systems.

    HSE Executive [Olufoam & Old Warehouse - Akure]

    We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team at our cocoa warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and compliance procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement controls.
    • Implement HSE policies and procedures for the cocoa warehouse and related activities.
    • Conduct toolbox, safety awareness and engagements, HSE training programs for employees.
    • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
    • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g. OSHA, ISO 45001,ISO14001)
    • Collaborate with operations team to ensure HSE considerations are integrated to warehouse operations.
    • Conduct risk assessments for cocoa processing and storage activities.
    • Implement emergency response plans (e.g. fire, First aid, Spill etc.)
    • Ensure proper maintenance of HSE equipment and facilities.
    • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and authorities (OSEPA, FMenv, NESREA , Fire Service etc)
    • Monitor and enforce PPE usage and compliance. Perform PPE compliance audits. 
    • Investigate and address employee HSE concerns and suggestions
    • Update HSE documentation and records where applicable.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Science, Engineering or environmental related courses.
    • HSE certification (HSE Level 3 Minimum, NEBOSH is added advantage).
    • 3+ years of experience in HSE role, preferably in warehouse or Logistics or manufacturing environment
    • Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
