    Logistics Intern

    Job description

    In a highly engaged and enthusiastic team, within a fast-growing company contributing to the Oil & Gas industry, the Logistics Intern supports the company's strong growth.

    Your Responsibilities will be to

    • Support Logistics team with general duties of planning, scheduling, and purchasing inventory.
    • Participate with the vendor management team in the negotiation process to learn how to approach and resolve freight cost and rate issues where lanes show differences to benchmark data.
    • Work with vendor management team assisting in analysis to provide leverage with category management to influence vendor rate decisions.
    • Work on process improvement with connected departments such as purchasing, planning, and logistics.
    • Help with inventory control and logistics functions.
    • Learn business practices and business etiquette as it relates to Logistics support.
    • Various ad-hoc reporting requests related to network efficiency, cost & supplier performance.
    • Create daily, near-term, and long-term schedules.
    • Produce high-volume shop orders with low-volume or piece quantities.
    • Develop component purchasing releases for the suppliers.
    • Create Purchasing Requisitions for local suppliers.

    Profile

    • Minimum of university degree, HND in any area of study.An analytic mind and good numeracy skills.
    • Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, self-motivated and results-driven.
    • Great team player, able to build working relationships and work well across teams.
    • Good client engagement and networking skills
    • Strong IT skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Able to adapt to a quickly changing and evolving business environment; deliver in the face of uncertainty; and work proactively and autonomously.
    • Ability to work with people at all levels of seniority in an international environment and within a fast-paced, results-orientated organization.

    Bar Attendant/ Life guard

    Job description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders who will be able to create classic and innovative drinks that exceed customers’ needs and expectations.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare drinks and beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
    • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
    • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
    • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
    • Plan and present bar menu.
    • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meet the legal drinking age.
    • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
    • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
    • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

    Profile

    • Proven working experience as a Bartender & Life guard (Pool Attendant)
    • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
    • Computer literacy
    • Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
    • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
    • Relevant training certificate

    • 1 year or more

    Senior Flow Assurance Engineer

    Job description

    SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria. His responsibilities shall include:

    • Conducts and endorses flow assurance studies in order to optimize production.
    • Endorses formulation and updates of flow assurance aspects of field Operating Philosophy.
    • Regularly updates the flow assurance strategy document as operating conditions evolve.
    • Prepares, reviews and updates operating guidelines and verify proper implementation on site.
    • Provides support for commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up & Shutdown activities on site.
    • Provides flow assurance assistance to day-to-day Operations (trouble shooting).
    • Actively participates in the monitoring & optimization of flow assurance processes.
    • Participates in the development of support / monitoring tools such as OCWR and OFMS in line with field operating principles.
    • Serves as the flow assurance technical authority and so provide technical assistance to field management for decision-making.
    • Performs and endorses core flow assurance design studies towards field development when necessary.
    • Prepares Scope of Requirement for flow assurance studies (Feasibility, Pre-Project Studies, etc.)
    • Endorses engineering studies performed by Contractors as required.
    • Ensures that any engineering studies meet Field Operations aspirations and objectives.
    • Ensures that flow assurance design complies with Company Rules and Specifications.
    • Participates in technical audits (HAZOP, Company technical audits and quality reviews, etc.).
    • Supervises flow assurance studies performed by young Engineers.
    • Contributes to improving skills, know-how and experience of the field operations production support teams.
    • Contributes to the evolution of tools and work methods.
    • Provides relevant info to other disciplines – Process, Well Performance, Development planning, etc.
    • Interfaces with HQ specialists and provide relevant feedback.

    QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Education: BENG in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Professional Experience: 10+ years flow assurance experience in the oil and gas industry.
    • Required Skills: Familiarity with the use of process and flow assurance simulation tools such as HYSIS, ProII, OLGA, PVTSIM, MULTIFLASH etc.
    • Language: Fluent spoken and excellent written English
