We are looking for a right-brained Architect to join our Engineering Team.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using CAD software packages. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline the architectural design of various projects
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science, and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact
• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
• Compile project specifications
• Keep within timelines
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
• Follow architectural trends and advancements.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Architecture
• ARCON
• NIA is an added advantage
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch Up, 3d Studio VIZ, Rhino 3D or similar
• Proven working experience as an Architect
• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

JOB BRIEF
We at Sinoma Nigeria Company Ltd are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join us.
The incumbent will work closely with the Architects, and Engineers, in the planning of projects, and developing an integrated design.

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Eng. Mechanical Engineer.
• COREN certified
• Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM)
• Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE, or other)
• Proven working experience as a mechanical engineer
• Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica, or similar)
• Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Excel, Lab View, etc.)
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
• Technical writing skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine drawings and other instructions for jobs
• Interpret oral, audio, and written pieces from Chinese to English, vice-versa
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
• Draw patterns and cut them out of different metals prototypes, manufacture, and implement)
• Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
• Produce outline designs
• Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety
• Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
• Estimate budget and scope of project
• Solicit observations from operators
• Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
