    Internal Control Officer

    We are recruiting to fill the position below:

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implements the Internal Control programs to ascertain and report on degree of compliance with company-approved policies and operating procedures, laws, regulations, and code of good business practices.
    • Prepares monthly and quarterly internal control activity reports and submits to the Team Lead, Internal Control for consolidation
    • Reports significant risk exposures and control issues, including fraud risks, governance issues, and other matters needed or requested by the Executive Management.
    • Perform prepayment audits.
    • Carry out monthly/Adhoc inventory count and periodic fixed asset verification exercises and submit reports to the Team Lead, Internal Control
    • Follows up on the implementation of the audit/control recommendations and ensures that improvements are made to reduce the residual risks to appropriate levels.
    • Performs any other functions as may be assigned by the Team Lead, Internal Control and Group Head, Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance

    Qualifications

    •  B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Banking, and Finance or related courses from a recognized institution
    • Minimum of second-class upper division
    • Not less than 25 years of age
    • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

    Description

    In this role, you will ensure provision of efficient and sound financial accounting services ranging from processing of transactions, recording and reporting financial information for internal and external utilization, support Management to ensure cost-effective utilization of financial resources for optimal return on investment and support the delivery of effective financial decisions by Management and the development and execution of an effective financial strategy to achieve an efficient funding structure.

    Job Summary

    Responsible for effective logistics coordination and all operational activities in the depots.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Collect and plan economic means of distribution of orders to retail outlets and commercial customers
    • Receive and action on all Product Supply Authorization (PSA) orders.
    • Ensure efficiency in tracking, documenting, and reporting the distribution of orders
    • Check any unauthorized product supply Invoice/SMR to customers from the Depot
    • Supervise and ensure effective coordination of business activities at the depots.
    • Ensure efficient and equitable allocation of products to the company from the depot.
    • Ensure all trucks used for transportation meet specified standards.

    Service Station Attendant

    Job Description

    • Greet customers as they arrive at the gas station or the associated shop and inquire into their purpose of visit
    • Dispensing gas/Diesel to customers
    • Ascertain that all gas dispensers are in good working order at all times

    Executive Assistant to the Group Managing Director

    Purpose of the Job

    • To provide secretarial and administrative support and assistance to the GMD on a variety of strategic non-core business matters

    Job Duties / Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
    Planning and Organisation:

    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the business, the priorities of the company and the priorities of the GMD, as well as company policies, procedures and methods of operation to effectively and efficiently conduct duties and responsibilities
    • Coordinate official engagements
    • Conduct weekly diary meetings with the GMD to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests

    Records Management:

    • Schedule on behalf of the GMD meetings between him and his direct reports and the committees and groups to which he is a member
    • Follow up and monitor progress on discussions, decisions and/or special assignments to ensure timely response from the GMD to the respective person(s) and stakeholders
    • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with the Administration Department and ensure arrangements are in place for the GMD to match his requirements
    • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the GMD, including the drafting of general replies.

    Others:

    • Conduct research and gather data on diverse business issues for the GMD
    • Collate material and prepare presentations and speeches for the GMD
