    Audit Assurance Manager (Audit Manager)

    Salary Budget: 450,000 Naira Monthly Net

    Job Description: 

    We are seeking a qualified Audit Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements and manage relationships with key stakeholders. 

    The ideal candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, overseeing the execution of audit assignments while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Audit Planning and Strategy: 

    • Design and implement comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessments and resource allocation. Ensure audit engagements are executed efficiently and effectively, from initiation through to completion.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify and manage potential risks during the audit process, safeguarding both the clients and AAC Professional Services against unforeseen challenges and ensuring compliance with risk management policies.

    Quality Control and Compliance:

    • Ensure that all audit work meets high-quality standards and adheres to Nigerian GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements. Maintain rigorous quality control throughout all audit engagements.

    Key Requirements:

    • ACCA, ICAN qualification or overseas equivalent.
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of audit experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience managing audit teams and mentoring staff.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian GAAP, IFRS, and International Auditing Standards.
    • Experience in performing substantive audits, consolidations, and group audits.
    • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at senior levels.
    • Working knowledge of financial products, compliance, anti-money laundering, and risk management.

    Senior Tax Manager

    Tax Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies for clients in line with local and international tax regulations.
    • Provide strategic tax planning for businesses and individuals to optimize tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and international tax frameworks.

    Tax Compliance:

    • Oversee the preparation and timely submission of tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, etc.) for clients.

    Senior Accountant

    Job Overview: 

    We are seeking an experienced Accountant with audit expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the unit head and manage a portfolio of clients, preparing their books of accounts, performing detailed audits, and delivering comprehensive financial reports on a monthly or quarterly basis. 

    Additionally, the candidate will conduct pension audits in compliance with the National Pension Commission (PenCom) guidelines.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, general ledgers, and books of accounts for clients.
    • Perform monthly or quarterly financial reporting for clients, including management accounts.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other key reports.
    • Conduct pension audits in accordance with PenCom regulations and standards.
    • Prepare reports on PenCom audit performed and liaise with PenCom Officials.
    • Perform detailed financial analysis and audits, identifying areas of improvement and risk.
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing annual financial statements and audit reports.
    • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree/ HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other field.
    • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or its equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in an audit role.
    • Experience in conducting pension audits under PenCom guidelines is a strong advantage.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zohobooks, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software).
    • Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
