Key Responsibilities:

Tax Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive tax strategies for clients in line with local and international tax regulations.
• Provide strategic tax planning for businesses and individuals to optimize tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and international tax frameworks.

Tax Compliance:

• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, etc.) for clients.

Key Requirements:

• A professional certification in taxation (e.g., CITN, ACCA, ICAN) is required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in tax advisory and compliance, preferably within a mid-tier tax consulting firm.
• Proven track record in managing complex tax projects and handling tax audits, disputes, and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations, including CIT, VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax.
• Experience with international tax law, double taxation treaties, and cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with tax planning tools and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Ability to interpret and apply tax laws in practical scenarios, demonstrating keen attention to detail.
