    Art Teacher(Creative and Cultural Arts)

    Job Summary

    • Little Sprouts Schools Abuja is seeking a creative, passionate, and experienced Art Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Art across both Primary and High School levels, nurturing students’ creativity, and helping learners develop practical visual arts skills.
    • The successful candidate must possess strong artistic and instructional abilities, demonstrate proven experience preparing students for internal and external examinations, and have a track record of identifying and developing artistic talent in learners.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons for Primary and High School students.
    • Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Visual Arts in accordance with the school curriculum.
    • Prepare students for Year 9 and Year 12 examination classes.
    • Coach and prepare students for external examinations including:
    • WAEC

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or related discipline.
    • PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education) is required.
    • Valid TRCN Certification.
    • Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of Art and related subject areas.
    • Excellent practical knowledge of Visual Arts techniques and application.
    • Proven ability to nurture and develop artistic talents in learners.

    • The successful candidate should be tech-savvy, creative, and familiar with social media management, photo/video editing tools, and digital design platforms. She must also be flexible, proactive, and willing to work extra hours, including weekends when required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Welcome and attend to parents, visitors, staff, and students in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient front desk/reception area.
