    Head of Offline Sales

    Job Objective

    As Head of Offline Sales, you will play a key role in delivering exponential business growth through the offline space. You will do this by steering the existing agents’ performance, carrying out periodic recruitment and sales drives of new agents. You will propose initiatives and activities for the region that will impact business results positively. 

    Most importantly, you will oversee the city activation expansion project that will take place in select regions in the country. You will lead and manage the planning and execution of the field activations in collaboration with the Regional Managers and J-Force agents.

    The Head of Offline Sales is expected to inspire and motivate the J-Force team by building positive relationships, developing routines, processes and structures that will contribute to delivering targets across key performance indicators as defined by the business. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Drive day to day performance steering and management to deliver the Offline Sales KPIs.
    • Manage the execution of the Offline Sales plan, ensure Jumia always has for each JForce consultant and their customer, the right products at the best price, at the right place.
    • Understand offline market trends, J-Force consultants, vendors, and customers. Continually add valuable insights and convictions to support your recommendations.
    • Work alongside the Commercial Planning team to deliver best in class performance steering across categories.
    • Oversee the city activation expansion project that will take place in select regions in the country in collaboration with the Regional Managers, Commercial and Logistics teams
    • Ensure tight control on budget used for indirect commissions and subsidies.
    • Work very closely with the commercial department to plan the initiatives/campaigns in accordance with their own capacity and schedule.
    • Work seamlessly across departments (i.e. Marketing, Logistics, Operations, Finance), to enable smart decision-making, problem-solving and ensure laser focus executions.
    • Constantly working toward improving and simplifying internal processes. 
    • Work together with system teams to identify main opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains.
    • Influence large number stakeholders across the business; work closely with the team members and other business groups to deliver results and be comfortable in presenting projects and results to senior leadership on a regular basis.

    Expected background, skills, and abilities: 

    • An ideal candidate would possess significant (6-9 years) experience in.
      • Sales and /or offline retail industry, Team management and a proven track record of impact
      • Building networks
      • Marketing field activations
    • Background in FMCG or Telco industry
    • Strong analytical capability.
    • Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel 
    • Leadership and management to lead the team above and beyond their capabilities and train them 
    • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and convince internal and external stakeholders of Offline Sales vision
    • Eager to spend time on the field with the teams, agents and other relevant stakeholders in the offline space
    • Fast learner and well organized 
    • Performance driven, action and result oriented

    Strategic Account Manager

    Job Description

    • You will be responsible for managing the media activities of Jumia’s Strategic brand partners: the Joint Business Plan (JBP) Partners. You will have a dozen JBP brands in your portfolio to animate monthly with an expectation of high-achieving campaigns.
    • Should bandwidth allow,  you will also be able to support some of our key strategic sellers that are not part of regional JBPs but covered in local ones.
    • You will be reporting to the local Head of Advertising as well as functionally to the person overseeing all regional Joint Business Plans. 
    • You will be working closely with the Strategic Vendor Service (SVS), each leading one brand regionally from the commercial, logistics, and advertising budget aspects.

    Key Responsibilities

    As the end to end owner of the execution of all media activities of the regional JBP partners in your country, your responsibilities include:

    •  defining a monthly media plan for your brands
    •  executing the media plan once aligned with the brand
    •  analyzing the media plan performance at channel level & optimizing it intra-month
    • reporting on the results and building recommendations brand by brand to improve the coming month's plan
    •  building relationships with local JBP brand teams as well as the Adopts & marketing teams

    Minimum Requirements Profile

    • Growth hacker mindset
    • Brand DNA sensitivity is a plus
    • 3/4  years experience managing online marketing campaigns: multi-channel management, at ease with marketing KPIs and campaign budget management 
    • Enjoying data crunching and at ease with large data sets and multiple sources of info
    • Enjoying working with multi-stakeholders

    IT Support Manager

    About the Job

    You will have the chance to integrate our amazing IT Support team that is responsible for  supporting all our internal users on a daily basis. From laptop maintenance to troubleshooting, onboardings & offboarding, Google Workspace, SSO  and Endpoints.

    Your responsibilities:

    • Management of local Endpoints for MDM and EDR;
    • Follow up on outstanding IT related requests and ensure resolution within established SLA in the ticket platform;
    • Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records;
    • Onboarding and Offboarding procedures;
    • Report RMA’s and  Warranties;
    • Manage OS Imaging and Configuration for Linux, MacOS and Windows;
    • Support for Voip systems.
    • Other common IT Support  duties.

    What we are looking for:

    • Higher education in either IT or equivalent
    • Minimum 6 year work experience in computer technical support functions;
    • Good technical knowledge in the areas of hardware, operating systems (Windows, Mac and Linux) and Networks TCP / IP;
    • Excellent communication skills and taste for contact with the end user;
    • Knowledge and experience on Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft, Xcally, Zendesk and Endpoint platforms is a plus. 
    • Good interpersonal skills and taste for teamwork;
    • Good analytical ability, organization and planning;
    • Outstanding troubleshooting skills
    • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
    • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, clearly and accurately.
