    Design Lead

    About HOI

    Haven of Imagination (HOI Events) is an Abuja based event decoration company that provides exquisite decor for parties, corporate events etc within Abuja and it's environ. We are hiring:

    Design and Production Lead who will be responsible for designing floor plans to create unique and well-organized 3D visuals for all events. This involves analyzing the event space/venue and surrounding environment, considering the budget, and creating a design within these parameters. Their duties include meeting with clients to discuss their vision, drawing up 3D plans and modifying their designs to suit the client’s needs in line with reality of available event space/venue.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Attend clients and vendor’s meetings along with creative director
    • Visit event venues/hall ahead and create detailed, complete and accurate three-dimensional floor plans with the aim of giving clients a visual impression ahead of events
    • Work with the creative team and operations lead to identify appropriate work steps, structures and processes to accomplish the client’s design
    • Interpret the 3-D plans for the production team (carpenter, welders etc) ahead of event.
    • Work with the creative director to bring the 3-D Plan to live with the aim of satisfying the client.
    • Provide quality customer service, delivering solutions, meeting customer’s expectations relative to design, image, productivity and quality
    • Design flyers, banners and other materials such as backdrops for printing etc ahead of events
    • All other duties as may be assigned

    Store Assistant

    Haven of Imagination (HOI Events) is an Abuja based event decoration company that provides exquisite decor for parties, corporate events etc within Abuja and it's environ. We are hiring:

    Store Assistant to work with the Store Keeper who is responsible for all stock, inventory and planning of items to be used for events/projects. The Store keeper is responsible for managing the stock by keeping a record of items leaving and returning to the store both old and newly purchased.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain consistent stock levels to meet demands for all events
    • Receive parking list at least 1-week ahead of all events and ensure items are identified and parked for usage at event venues.
    • Anticipate items that are not readily available in store and prepare to rent ahead of event
    • Anticipate and react to shortages and changes in inventory either post event or in store by reporting same immediately
    • Maintain the log book for inventory and track types and movement of all inventory items
    • Conduct regular stock take and ensure the log book/software is updated at all times.
    • Oversee and control inventory coming in and out of the warehouse
    • Work with suppliers to purchase items and build good working relationships
    • Work with logistics companies as necessary to move items from store to events and back ensuring the safety and maintenance of all items
    • Manage and collaborate with a team of warehouse/inventory workers
    • Report findings, reports, and data to upper management
    • All other duties as may be assigned

    Operations Supervisor

    About HOI

    Haven of Imagination (HOI Events) is an Abuja based event decoration company that provides exquisite decor for parties, corporate events etc within Abuja and it's environ. We are hiring:

    Operations Supevisor

    The Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Oversees the activities of staff and vendors pre and post-event.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Attend all venue recee alongside the Creative Director, Design Lead and Planners
    • Determine the operational cost for all events and get the necessary disbursement for same ahead of events
    • Work with the creative director to draw up parking list for all materials used for all events and ensure they are parked from store.
    • Supervise and oversee pre-event production i.e carpentry, welding and other purchases
    • Ensure the safe keeping and maintenance of all materials while at site and ensure all materials are returned to store intact.
    • Monitor usage of items at venue and ensure staff are held responsible for damages where negligence can be established.
    • Ensure all stakeholders are kept abreast of information necessary for them to execute effectively all events.
    • Bring on board your creativity during the planning and execution of all events to ensure the success of all events.
    • Maintain a cordial relationship amongst staff, clients and vendors
    • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
    • Supervise all project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
    • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
    • Coordinating the procurement of materials for projects/events.
