    Interior Design Architect/Architect

    Greenfield Consulting is currently recruiting for an Accountant for a client in the construction industry.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Performs all phases of architectural work including conceptualizing, planning, designing and overseeing the project. He ensures client’s needs are met and produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Interior Architect designs building interiors, which often requires considering both the functionality and appearance of a space. Interior Architect contributes to and support on projects. They help prepare space plans, designs and installation or workshop drawings. They work directly with the Business development and Execution teams. An Interior Architect works on any/all phases of development including Predesign, Schematic Design, Design Development, Installation Documents and Quality Assurance. They are responsible for producing high quality project design deliverables across the lifecycle of a project.

    JOB DESCRIPTION: He/she must be able to-

    Architect:

    • Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs
    • Supervise project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design are implemented
    • Visit site to check on project status and report on project
    • Follow architectural trends and advancements
    • Generate 2D and 3D drawings when required
    • Prepare drawings as it might be required on sites throughout the construction period
    • Handle the internal Structural needs of the Company
    • Coordinate the building team.

    • Handle different projects at the same time.
    • Interior Design
    • Drive the interior design: conceptual, schematic and design development phases of projects.
    • Produce and review interior design scope of work and request for proposals for consultants.
    • Direct project planning and interior design team activities.
    • Oversee and coordinate preparation of working interior design drawings, budgeting, schedules, specifications, planning and design with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities on multiple concurrent projects.
    • Lead interior design meetings and design presentations.
    • Develop project priorities and schedules for bidding/construction procurement and construction administration.
    • Evaluate various interior design concepts and styles and select best fit for design project.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICAIONS:

    • BSc/MSc in Architecture from a reputable university
    • WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years of architectural working experience
    • Experience working on interior design projects with portfolio of previous projects available
    • Functional and Technical Skills.
    • He must action-oriented, thorough and innovative.
    • Provident use of AUTOCAD, REVIT, 3D MAX and other CAD software is a MUST
    • Expert level ability in the use of BIM, and other relevant software to produce /prepare/ develop exceptional architectural visualizations / animations / drawings.
    • Professional qualification will be an added advantage.

    IT Officer

    Greenfield Consulting is currently recruiting for an IT OFFICER for a client in the construction industry.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The IT Officer will be responsible for resolving technical issues faced by users/employees and clients. This will involve resolving issues of hardware and software; IT Officer should be skilled in networking, systems administration and the maintenance of computer systems and CCTV cameras/biometric machines.

    JOB DESCRIPTION: He/she must be able to-

    • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
    • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
    • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

    Mechanical engineers are responsible for designing, building, installing and maintaining all kinds of mechanical machinery, tool and components on a project. He is involved in the Coordination, Design and Drafting of building mechanical services from conceptual to completion stage.

    JOB DESCRIPTION: He/she must be able to-

    • Ensure that the mechanical design, plumbing, piping and installations of mechanical works meet the right requirements
    • Plan, operate, evaluate, supervise, and maintain the aspect of mechanical works while applying knowledge of Engineering principles
    • Constantly investigate equipment failures, and difficulties, to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to laborers, artisans, and maintenance crew

    Structural Engineer

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The role of the Structural Engineer in the Construction Industry cannot be over emphasized.  The Structural Engineer is concerned with the design and physical integrity of buildings and other large structures, he has wide range of responsibilities - not least a duty to ensure the safety and durability of the project on which he is working, he must solve technical problems - and help the Architect achieve his or her vision for the project.

    • Prepare reports, designs and drawings.

    The Quantity Surveyor manages all costs relating to Building and Civil Engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.     • Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
    • Must be able to work well under pressure.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively.
    • Must be very vast in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
