The Job

• Operate the Packing Machine in line with the Standard Operating Procedure.
• Perform autonomous maintenance on the Packing machines to prevent down time.
• Monitor product quality to identify deviations from specification.
• Ensure that regular and preventive maintenance procedures are carried out.
• Periodically perform routine safety checks on every machine line.
• Log all information and periodically report to relevant supervisors.

The Person Must

• Have good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have basic computer skills

Qualifications

• OND in Engineering or Science related disciplines
• 5 0’ level credits including English and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings

Experience:

• At least 2 years related experience.

The Job

• Operate the human-machine interface of the machinery to start up the plant, run the production lines and shut down.
• Conduct continuous inspection and monitoring of key process parameters to identify abnormality and make necessary adjustment. Implements the proper response, including notifying the supervisors.
• Regularly check product output to correct quality defects and any machine related flaws
• Perform autonomous maintenance on the process lines to prevent breakdown.
• Responsible for maintaining detailed reports of operations.

Qualifications

• National Diploma (ND) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 O’ level credits including English & Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.

Experience:

• At least 3 years related experience.

• Promptly attend to any electrical faults on production lines with minimum time required
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components of machine such as frequency Drives, motors, Programable Logic Controllers, etc.
• Document and analyze test result such as infra-red thermometer readings
• Carry out preventive and other maintenance activities on packaging machines.

The Job

• Operate breakfast cereals drum dryer in line with standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure products meets the required specifications.
• Perform autonomous maintenance on the drum dryer, kitchen and CIP plant to prevent breakdown.
• Ensure machines are set up at the beginning of shift to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Perform the adjustment of drum dryer and roller dryer gap to determine flake sizes, thickness and moisture content
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operations.
• Carry out parameter adjustments for the right moisture content, flakes thickness and colour.

The Person Must

• Have good communication skills
• Possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Be attentive to details and computer skills

Qualification

• OND in Science or Engineering related discipline
• 5 O'level credits including English and Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings

• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on Diesel Generators, Jenbacher gas generator, gas turbine, air compressors, chillers and other related utilities equipment.
• Ensure the efficient running of the Generators/Turbine and related Power Plant equipment.
• Carryout basic troubleshooting on medium/low voltage switchgears.
• Carryout planned maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical pumps.
• Effectively utilise spares for generator repairs and avoid stock out.

• At least 3 years related experience in a related industry/capacity
