Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lathe Machine Operator based in Agbara.
• The Lathe Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating lathe and milling machines to fabricate and shape parts according to specifications.
• Daily tasks include monitoring machine operations, ensuring precision in production and maintaining equipment for optimal performance.
• Collaboration with team members and supervisors to meet production targets is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Machine Operation and expertise in handling the lathe machine
• Familiarity with working on various types of Machinery and using Hand Tools effectively
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety
• Prior experience as a Machinist is required
• A technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related field is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes is beneficial
