    Solar Installation Engineer

    Role Summary

    We are hiring a skilled Solar Installation Engineer to manage solar projects, design proposals, and develop technical/material solutions. The role reports to the Project Execution Leader and requires design, planning, and optimization of solar systems for diverse client needs.

    Location: Abuja (Applicants should reside in Abuja)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Connect solar systems to the grid; install grounding, controls & conduct testing.
    • Design inverter systems tailored to clients’ energy needs.
    • Conduct engineering site audits for solar project design.
    • Recommend and review engineering specifications.
    • Create and interpret solar installation plans and component mapping.
    • Troubleshoot installation issues and perform repairs.
    • Design cost-effective solar engineering solutions.
    • Weatherproof installations per local codes and manufacturer specs.
    • Install, maintain, and repair solar panels, batteries, and supports.
    • Design electrical panels for efficient power management.
    • Educate clients on solar energy and safety.
    • Optimize solar PV design for performance and cost.
    • Identify solar/renewable energy business opportunities.
    • Plan and develop maintenance programs for clients/internal teams.
    • Execute ground-mounted solar projects end-to-end.
    • Assess site feasibility and recommend suitable solutions.
    • Lead technical analysis, feasibility studies, and design projects.
    • Handle other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics & Electronics, or related.
    • 2-3 years\' experience in the renewable energy sector.
    • Strong electronics troubleshooting and system resolution.
    • Knowledge of PV systems, AC/DC design, metering, relay protection, and interconnection.
    • Proficiency in SketchUp, PVsyst, and other solar design tools.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
    • Professional, timely communication with clients.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Net Salary: ₦150,000- #200,000/month

    Responsibilities

    • Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to drive growth in solar energy solutions.
    • Assist in planning and running marketing campaigns across digital platforms, events, and other channels.
    • Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and support the sales team in closing deals.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring excellent service before and after sales.
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of solar solutions to clients.
    • Meet sales and marketing targets and provide regular reports and insights.
    • Stay updated on solar products and industry developments to engage customers better.
    • Contribute to a positive, results-driven team culture.

    Qualifications

    • OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Sales and Marketing Associate in the Renewable Energy industry or any other industry.
