This role serves as a company's technical Field Advisor (TFA) and administrative representative, resident engineer, and handles customer service assignments.
It involves on-site preventive and scheduled maintenance, call-out services, and new unit commissioning activities on gas turbine product lines and packages.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Safety & Compliance: Follow all company and customer safety policies, maintain safe work practices, adhere to permit systems, participate in safety meetings, and proactively suggest improvements.
Maintenance Execution: Perform maintenance in line with company standards and manufacturer guidelines, using sound technical knowledge to identify issues early and prevent equipment failure or downtime.
Reporting & Communication: Provide accurate, timely reports and updates, maintain equipment records, and communicate effectively with supervisors and customer representatives.
Planning & Coordination: Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensure availability of parts and personnel, and coordinate with operations to minimise downtime and meet project timelines.
Problem Solving & Support: Analyse and resolve issues efficiently with minimal supervision, apply technical expertise, and assist operations and maintenance teams as needed to ensure optimal performance.
What You Bring
Technical qualification in University Engineering Degrees, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or extensive years of experience with equivalent certificates.
Verifiable over 5 years of working experience with gas turbines and rotating equipment in a related industry.
Computer literacy with MS Windows Suite, software applications, and basic electronic hardware handling.
Experience with recognized gas turbine product lines and/or extensive continuous occupation as a gas turbine engineer.
Experience in an onshore/offshore environment is essential.
Deep knowledge of rotating equipment packages is an asset.
Familiarity with Gas Turbine engine theory, package systems theory, and operational knowledge will be advantageous.
