    Medical Laboratory Scientist - Maiduguri

    Mission Objective

    Duties And Responsibilities

    PURPOSE

    • Compile and analyzes body fluids, tissue, and other substances to determine normal or abnormal findings.
    • Gather and organizes work by matching computer orders with specimen labeling; sorting specimens; checking labels; logging specimens; arranging reports for delivery; keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
    • Perform molecular diagnostics such as PCR using open and closed systems. Perform hematology, chemistry, immunology and microbiology tests as required. Perform infectious disease testing including COVID-19.

    • Identify and communicates abnormal results by alerting supervisory personnel, the patient, physician, or nurse.
    • Communicate with patients and family members in a professional, compassionate and respectful manner to facilitate healthcare delivery as a team member.

    • Process and enhances laboratory services and laboratory reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Operate sophisticated equipment and instruments to perform diagnostic tests and assays following standard operating procedures. Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers by following established standards and procedures
    • Process and maintains quality results by running standards and controls, verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced troubleshooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols.

    Targeted Specializes Knowledge

    • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a Medical Laboratory, Clinic or hospital.
    • A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in laboratory science from an accredited university.
    • Additional training and experience in molecular diagnostic techniques such as PCR
    • Candidate must possess a Certification from the Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN)
    • Candidates must possess a current practicing license. Relevant Certification will be an added advantage.

    Operations Assistant - Maiduguri

    Mission Objective  

    • Clinical services operations department is responsible for the smooth running of the clinics, by providing support to the medical team to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare.
    • The operations assistant manages appointment schedules for both the patient and doctor ensuring that patient wait times are kept at the minimum. They also provide information about the services and products of the Clinics when visitors make an enquiries as well as handling patient billing.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    PURPOSE

    • Attends to patients at the clinic, triaging and classifying patients for optimal care create, update, and maintain low-level records and databases related to Odoo, EHA Care etc
    • Ensuring the smooth running of the clinical operation in the clinics thereby encouraging a high patient flow and adherence to schedules. 
    • Sales of clinical products such as membership packages e.t.c
    • Scheduling appointments and keeping track of patient wait time, Initiate prompt communication and reminders with patients on appointments through SMS, phone calls, emails etc

    ENGAGEMENT

    • Providing information about the services and products of the Clinics when visitors make an enquiry. 
    • Acts as liaison person between the patient and other departments. Resolving queries and requests from the patients to the laboratory, medical and pharmacy teams.
    • Act as liaison officers between HMO clients and EHA Clinics; confirming patient eligibility, seeking approvals, pre-authorizations and service coverage enquiries from the HMOs.

    DELIVERY

    • Patient billing management- receipt of payments from clients and HMOs via various payment methods not limited to cash payments, bank transfers, POS e.t.c 
    • Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication
    • Accomplishing organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge 

    • Minimum of one year experience handling roles as a Personal Assistant, Front Desk Executive, and Customer Service in any reputable company.
    • Bachelor’s degree or an OND in Business Administration, Office Management & Technology, Public Administration, Secretarial Studies, or any management-related field.

    Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Niger

    Manager, Communications

    Mission Objective

    • The Communications Department provides strategic and creative services in communications critical to achieving the organization’s mission through fostering effective stakeholder engagement, building brand awareness, and promoting the organization's key messages.     Duties & Responsibilities 

    PURPOSE

    • Lead digital execution and participate in digital campaigns—across email, website, print and social media—of programmes and projects across offices and Regions throughout the year.
    • Provide strategic leadership to the Communications Team members.
    • Develop and execute a multi-channel communications strategy and plan, driving a coherent and planned approach to producing communication and publications for EHA Clinics. Organize and streamline service offerings into customer friendly concepts
    • Serve as editor, managing the publication process, ensure alignment with overall communications strategy. And leads crisis management in cases of bad publicity.
    • Develop and execute social and print media campaigns for key days, themes, and priority upcoming content.

    ENGAGEMENT

    • Prepare and manage all communications material and work in collaboration with the communications team and other functions to ensure consistency of message and alignment of content.
    • Supervise internal communication systems (newsletters, emails, corporate announcements).

    • Publish a variety of digital content with a focus on producing engaging web pages that are visually appealing and provide an overall rich experience for partners and visitors.
    • Manage social ad campaigns and other promotions; track and share results for continuous improvement to targeting and segments. Ensure a detailed error-free reporting of activities, to the Leadership, occurring in the Communications team for timely and efficient publication on a monthly basis.

    Targeted Specialized Knowledge

    • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is generally required. A master's degree is added advantage.
    • Excellent ability to craft messages and engage audiences across different platforms.
    • Ability to develop and execute communication strategies aligned with organisation goals.
    • Expertise in PR tactics and maintaining brand consistency
    • Above 5years experience in communications, PR, marketing, or media is often required. This includes experience managing communications campaigns, social media strategies, and public relations efforts.

    • Background in customer service, sales and marketing. Completion of compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or exemption.
