    Branch Manager / Head of Marketing

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manages the Branch Portfolio (Deposit & Credit).
    • Drive the branch team to ensure that customers’ needs are met.
    • Develop a strategy & roadmap for improving the financial performance of the branch.
    • Build long lasting relationships with customers.
    • Create a culture of high performance among staff within the branch.
    • Ensure that branch procedures are followed to mitigate risks.
    • Coordinate Credit Appraisal & Deposit Mobilization on the branch level.
    • Drive the actualization of financial and non-financial targets.
    • Coordinate business development initiatives at the branch level.
    • Champion branch reporting and inter-branch dealings.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics or a related discipline.
    • A post-graduate Degree in Business, Finance or Economics is an added advantage.
    • A Microfinance Certification is required.
    • A minimum of five (5) years post-graduate experience as a Senior Manager in the Micro Finance space, three (3) of which must have been in a related position in a micro-finance bank.

    Reconciliation Officer

    Job Description

    • Generate correspondent bank statements and casebook / general ledger and reconcile them.
    • Prepare journals and ensure accounts are reconciled to show all accrued outstanding are updated and balances match with the general ledger and trial balance.
    • Work with the finance department for timely transactions, booking and clearance of related bank reconciliation items.
    • Investigate all entries in the reconciliation statement and general ledger suspense accounts to ensure all items are posted promptly and timely clearance of accounts respectively
    • Prepare daily, a weekly and monthly summary of the reconciliation report to ensure it tallies with the bank’s trial balance
    • Analyse, reconcile and proofread the general ledgers.
    • Monitor inter-institution receivables and payables for the bank.
    • Follow up of all outstanding items on bank reconciliation statements with concern and/or various organization units
    • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank transactions for all the bank’s accounts
    • Verify the reliability and accuracy of bank balances in the general ledger and trial balance.
    • Perform other duties as required by line manager.

    Job Requirement

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.

    Head of Sales

    Job Description  

    • Oversee and drive the sales team to achieve the set department KPIs
    • Sell the company’s range of products and services directly to existing and new accounts.
    • Identify and acquire new customers, as well as up-selling and cross-selling to the existing customer base
    • Meet planned sales goals and objectives.
    • Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
    • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of applications.
    • Participate in developing, presenting, and selling a value proposition.
    • Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from prospecting through to successful closure
    • Maintain a sustainable and robust pipeline and ensure accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning
    • Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities
    • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.
    • Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding a product or service
    • Liaise with the marketing department on lead generation and conversion of leads to client

    Candidate's Specification

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
    • Relevant sales and marketing professional certifications are an added advantage
    • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in B2B Sales, managing the company’s account
    • Experience selling software solutions will be an added advantage.
    • Ability to expand the company with new sales, clients/leads, and territories
