    General Manager, Commercial

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • Lead the development and implementation of the Commercial strategy for the Group, in alignment with the business plan, driving commercial value optimization, and assurance for the company's enterprise.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Facilitate process for developing and executing near and long-term business and commercial strategy, in line with the corporate aspirations of the company (and its affiliate businesses)
    • Facilitate the development of the annual Commercial plan and budget for all of the company's businesses as derived from the company's corporate objectives.
    • Cascade the company’s corporate commercial goals and objectives to the various functions (Procurement, Logistics and Materials Management, contract Management, Bids and Tendering), ensuring alignment between functional and corporate commercial objectives.
    • Coordinate commercial transaction processes, ensuring the inputs of all the relevant functions (Technical, Legal, HSE, Finance, etc.) are integrated and operationalized into the deal process.
    • Act as custodian of the Commercial Risk Management framework, facilitating its identification, issues mitigation and its integration with the business planning.
    • Evaluate emerging projects and opportunities, performs data gathering, economic analyses, and financial analysis, including sensitivity studies, to assess and advice on the commercial opportunities therein.
    • Guide/drive innovative and leading-edge business development and commercial opportunity maturation for the company, developing customer-focused offerings to meet customer needs in an evolving marketplace.
    • Responsible for overseeing a strategic framework for operationalizing the company's service offerings, deal making, customer service management, business and market competitive intelligence etc.
    • Evaluate, define, and prepare relevant market assessments and commercial pricing analyses and forecasts suitable for business requirements.
    • Responsible for value creation through cost optimization, overseeing the creation and implementation of the contracting strategy through the SCM unit to ensure this is achieved.
    • Drive the consistent and end-to-end commercial success in the company’s interaction with suppliers, vendors, etc. and in our entire procurement processes.
    • Project manage all commercial deals and transactions, ensuring they are in line with approved mandate, regulatory standards and that business value is sustained.
    • Provide periodic/ ad hoc market intelligence reports, ensuring Management and the Board of Directors are up to date with key changes and trends in the oil & gas industry.
    • Responsible for overseeing the cycle of commercial value creation, realization, optimization, and assurance across the business (and affiliates) to ensure the commercial strategy and goals are achieved.
    • Plan and implement a hierarchy for reporting all issues and KPIs across the commercial team.
    • Provide business and people leadership, change management for the commercial team.

    REQUISITE QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field of study is preferred. A related Master’s degree will be desirable.
    • Must have at least 20 years of professional experience, with extensive commercial and SCM experience with at least 5+ years in a senior management role.

    Job Purpose/ Key Objectives:

    • The General Manager, Agribusiness Operations and Strategy is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Company's asset while driving business profitability. This role focuses on optimizing operational processes, leading important business projects, and identifying opportunities for expansion, particularly in the fields of agriculture and production.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Oversee and manage all farm activities, including crop and/or livestock production. Develop and implement strategies timprove yield, efficiency, and profitability.

    Job Knowledge, Skills, Educational Requirement:

    • Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture Economics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Strategic Management, or a related field.
    • Experience Extensive experience in farm management, either as a senior farm manager or a farm owner.
    • Minimum of 8 years in a similar position.
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic business initiatives.
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, production management, and operational efficiency.
    • You must have a proven record of making a large farm profitable over a reasonable period of time.

    Job Summary

    • He/she is in charge of the Information System and processes related to the construction and operation of a very high-speed internet access service in FTTH. He/she is also in permanent contact with Company's Director of Information Systems and his management team. The position is based in Ibadan, Nigeria.

    Job Summary

    • The Treasurer's role is to control the financial flows and to optimize the cash management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the cash flow via receipts and disbursements
    • Monitor on a daily basis the company's bank accounts and positions
    • Prepare foreign transfers
