    Secretary to the Administrator General

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative Support

    • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents.
    • Maintain filing systems (electronic and physical).
    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
    • Organize meetings, take minutes, and distribute them.
    • Communication Duties
    • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and mail.
    • Serve as a liaison between management and other staff or clients.
    • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.

    Office Management

    • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
    • Ensure the office environment is neat, organized, and functional.
    • Coordinate logistics for travel, meetings, or events.
    • Record Keeping
    • Update and maintain office databases and records.
    • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Archive and retrieve documents as needed.

    Support to Executives or Team

    • Draft letters, memos, and other documents.
    • Follow up on tasks, deadlines, and assignments.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Proven experience as a secretary or in a similar administrative role.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Female and Male Hostel Parents

    Key Responsibilities:

    Student Welfare & Care

    • Act as a parental figure to students, providing emotional support and guidance.
    • Monitor students\' well-being, mental health, and behavior.
    • Be approachable and available to listen to students’ concerns.
    • Promote respect, discipline, kindness, and a sense of community.Daily Supervision
    • Ensure students follow hostel routines, including wake-up, hygiene, meals, study time, and bedtime.
    • Maintain order and discipline within the hostel.
    • Monitor attendance at meals, prep, lights-out, and other routines.

    Health & Safety

    • Ensure that students are safe at all times and that the hostel environment is clean and secure.
    • Respond promptly to illness or injury and communicate with the school nurse or health officer.
    • Keep accurate records of any incidents, illnesses, or behavioral issues.

    Communication

    • Liaise with academic staff, school counselors, medical personnel, and parents as needed.
    • Report concerns or achievements to relevant staff or parents.
    • Communicate house rules, school policies, and expectations clearly.

    Administrative Duties

    • Keep records of student behavior, leave requests, curfews, and sanctions.
    • Manage hostel inventory (linen, toiletries, cleaning supplies).
    • Supervise student roll calls and bed checks.

    Engagement & Supervision

    • Encourage participation in extracurricular activities and house events.
    • Organize social, cultural, and recreational activities in the hostel.
    • Help students develop independence, responsibility, and social skills.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum of B.Sc, HND, B.Ed. preferred (especially in child development or education).
    • Experience working with children/teenagers or in a boarding environment.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, authority, and a nurturing attitude.

    Chemistry Teacher

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum (e.g., WAEC/NECO syllabus).
    • Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet students’ diverse learning needs.
    • Conduct practical experiments, demonstrations, and lab activities to enhance scientific understanding.
    • Integrate technology and real-life applications into lessons where appropriate.

    Assessment & Evaluation

    • Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess student understanding.
    • Mark and grade students\\\' work promptly, giving constructive feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
    • Prepare students for internal and external exams through targeted revision and practice sessions.

    Classroom Management

    • Establish and maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment.
    • Set clear expectations for behavior and academic standards.

    Laboratory & Resource Management

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field (B.Sc., with PGDE., B.Ed.).
    • Minimum of 2–3 years teaching experience at the secondary school level.
    • Experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, and UTME is an advantage.
