    Credit Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Participate and assess the credit cycle process (pre disbursement and post- disbursement) to ensure compliance.
    • Conduct field visit to verify the formation of groups, existence of the client and their household, existence of business(s) which the loan is disbursed, quality and maintenance of collateral pledged, and the loan field analysis conducted by the CRO.
    • Review documents submitted during loan applications as well as cluster performance to determine loan eligibility
    • Ensure that loans are originated in compliance with established policies and procedures and those exceptions are properly monitored, documented and approved.
    • Evaluate and monitor the credit management process to identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
    • Maintain debtor's book to ensure that the debt status is accurate and latest.
    • Collect outstanding debts from clients and achieve collection target to ensure positive cash flow.
    • Review collection queue to perform collection activities accordingly.
    • Adhere to collections policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and report on credit risk on a transaction, client and portfolio level by ensuring:
    • Client / transaction information is obtained and used to determine compliance to credit conditions / covenants and non-compliance is reported in a timely manner
    • Conduct spot and Scheduled visit, arrest, petition and track debtors
    • Evaluated Credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentations within specified limits.
    • Used amortization to determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up dept payment plans
    • Completed loan contract and counseled client on policies and restriction.
    • Carry out other deliverables as assigned by Head of Risk and Recovery

    Group Accountant

    He/she should be able to use or be familiar with the following different softwares beinbgs used by the various subsidiaries: Tally , Bank One, GlobalSuite, and Bio duos etc.

    He is to oversees all activities of the accounting and tax accounting within the group and involved in the supervision and management of general accounting activities, analyses, and the maintenance of effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives.

    Essential Duties (Daily duties)

    • Daily Approval of Payment Vouchers
    • Daily supervision of all Accountants of the various SUB,s
    • Daily supervision of all Operations in the account Group Office

    General Description [Weekly /Quarterly duties]:

    Financial Obligations

    • Monthly Preparation of the Group Financial Statement
    • Monthly review of all Subsidiaries company financial statement
    • Monthly presentation of group financial statement
    • Budget preparation for the group:Financial budget,Cash budget
    • Weekly group office activity report.
    • Weekly group financial obligation updates.
    • Maintaining a strong corporate relationship with the financial institutions.
    • Providing all relevant financial advice for projects within the group.
    • Constantly review all account and financial job functions within the group.

    Statutory Obligations

    • Ensuring all statutory rendition within the group are remitted in line with the statutory deadline.(VAT,PAYE,PENSION,WHT)
    • Corporate filling/submission of all financial returns with the group.(FIRS,LIRS,CBN, e.t.c)
    • Attending to all tax related issues with the relevant statutory bodies.
    • Attending to all audit management letter.
    • Providing all audited account to the Legal department for filling with the CAC.
    • Compliance Obligations
    • Monitoring of all implementation controls
    • Scrutinizing all payment documentation before final approval
    • Monthly group tax compliance update.
    • Making sure all bank charges are in line with the agreed rate.
    • Constantly review the group financial in line with relevant standards.
    • Implementing and monitoring weekly cash check schedule for supervisors and managers.
    • Ensuring that all his staff Key results areas ar properly foormulated and discussed with them.

    Minimum Requirement:

    • B.sc /HND  (Accounting)
    • ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant)

    Admin officer

    The duties and responsibilities of an Administrative Officer typically include: 

    • Getting vendors, answering phone inquiries and handling complaints in a courteous, professional manner
    • Ensuring office supplies are maintained, including checking inventory and working with vendors to ensure adequate levels of necessary supplies at all times
    • Occasionally traveling off-site to deliver reports or files to other departments
    • Ensuring the confidentiality and security of files and filing systems
    • Coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, distributing memos and reports and ensuring that everyone is kept current of necessary company news and information 
    • Operating copy equipment, fax machines, printers or other equipment necessary

    • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with few errors
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to multitask

    Head of Risk

    Responsibilities 

    • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns and outcomes of decisions
    • Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive assessment
    • Create reports, summaries, presentations and process documents to display results
    • Collaborate with other team members to effectively analyze and present data
    • Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects
    • Conduct research into potential clients and understand the risks of accepting each one
    • Identify economic and financial trends that may present a risk to the company
    • Monitor internal and external data points that may affect the risk level of a decision
    • Ensure that clients interested in taking loans are given the necessary information to access the loan.
    • Collection of needed financial information/ documentation and assessing the clients’ credit worthiness.
    • Calculation and analyzing of risk ratios of clients based on the client’s credit score and financial history.
    • Recommendation of loans for approval/ Denial based on thorough analysis of client’s credit request.
    • Maintaining the loan portfolio.
    • Setting up payment plans for clients, and ensuring approved loans are promptly disbursed in line with management approval.
    • Loan monitoring to ensure loan customers are keeping to the terms and conditions of the loan

    Qualifications for Risk

    • Fifteen years of experience as an analyst in a similar company or related field
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to inform managers and other stakeholders of results
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio and other analysis programs
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and programs at the same time to complete work
    • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
    • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts
    • Basic knowledge of programming languages, such as SQL and Python
    • Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program
    • Excellent knowledge of loan application procedures and best lending practices.
    • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complicated financial data.
    • Strong ethical behavior and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
    • Ability to analyze the business of clients and identify the credit risk associated with it and recommending mitigates where necessary.
