    Radiographer

    Brief Introduction

    Diagnostic radiographers use a range of imaging technology and methods to look inside a patient's body and find out what's causing their illness. As a diagnostic radiographer, you'll work in a range of hospital departments, acquiring images to help with the diagnosis of illnesses and injuries.

    Responsibilities

    As a diagnostic radiographer, you'll typically need to:

    • assess patients and their clinical requirements to work out which radiographic techniques to use;
    • perform a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images;
    • take responsibility for radiation safety in your work area, including checking equipment for malfunctions and errors;
    • manage referrals to ensure patients receive a radiation dose as low as reasonably possible;
    • supervise visiting staff and patients in radiation work areas;
    • help in more complex radiological examinations, working with doctors such as radiologists and surgeons;
    • provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs;
    • keep up to date with health and safety guidelines, including ionizing radiation regulations, to protect yourself and others;
    • Interact with patients to offer them psychological support and address their concerns regarding an imaging procedure
    • Adjust diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate amount of radiation to patients;
    • Operate complex medical instruments such as MRIs, CT scanners, X-ray, and several other imaging devices

    Admin Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members.
    • Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.
    • Working with the accounting and management teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll and other expenses.
    • Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
    • Collecting, organizing, and storing information using computers and filing systems.
    • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
    • Building and expanding on skills by engaging in educational opportunities.

    • Supervise Janitors and their supplies
    • Keep record of Vendors, supervise the quality of work done
    • Maintain stock of Toiletries, stationeries and any other administrative products purchased
    • Ensuring office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained

    • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals

    Admin Manager Requirements:

    • Candidates must be living on the Island. Nearness to the location of business is very important.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
    • Experience in a related field, such as management or financial reporting, preferred.
    • Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.
    • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office.
    • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, and customer service procedures.
    • Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities.

    Medical Officer

     JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • First point of contact to new patients in the absence of the Consultant on getting to the clinic, this involves getting both bio and clinical data to make a safe diagnosis.
    • Conducting preoperative assessment on patients so as to detect condition that can negatively affect surgical outcome and instituting plans to remove this (It involves referring patient to other specialists).
    • Monitoring and providing general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient service.
    • Conducting Clinical audits, research and making presentations during clinical seminars.
    • Follow up on Lab results to ensure effective dispensation of adequate care.
    • Assisting in the theatre during minor and major procedures.
    • Carrying out other specific procedures and specialist investigations.
    • Ensuring adequate documentation of medical notes.
    • Working with other doctors as part of a team.
    • Organising tests performed by outside facilities.
    • Prepare summary of clinical care at prompt times when required.
