Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Auto Spray Painter to join our production team. As an Auto Spray Painter, you will be responsible for filling, smoothing, and repairing each product's surface, mixing the coating liquids, and spraying each layer according to specifications. You may also be required to paint decorative designs using stencils and coat hard-to-reach areas using a hand brush.

To ensure success as an auto spray painter, you should have excellent hand-eye coordination, good knowledge of paint mixing techniques, and strong attention to detail. A top-class auto spray painter should be able to produce even, hard-wearing coatings that exactly match the colours and finishes requested.

Job Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients and work managers to discuss design and color choices.
• Removing rust and other loose materials using acid or a wire brush.
• Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
• Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed.
• Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
• Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern.
• Spraying machines, products, and wall areas using industry techniques.
• Spraying designs using stencils, if required.
• Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
• Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum of SSCE/O’level certificate
• Proven experience working as an Auto Spray Painter
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
• Ability to see subtle color differences.
• Experience with breathing masks and protective clothing.
• Ability to work with acid and harsh chemicals.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Purchasing Officer to buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.

Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.

Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

Job Responsibilities

• Research potential vendors
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

Requirements and skills

• Between 4-6 years of experience in CAPEX & OPEX, preferably from manufacturing companies in Nigeria.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing agent or similar role from Manufacturing Companies
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Willing to relocate to Ibadan
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses

• Honest and transparent
• BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
