The Sales specialist primary function is driving new and upsell sales to foster revenue growth. The selected candidate will also be responsible for building relationships (client acquisition) and gaining new market share in their given sector and territory.
Job Responsibilites

Job Summary
Treasury Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day treasury function, including the timely processing of inflows and outflows, tracking incoming payments, executing accurate payouts, and generating payment receipts to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Oversee reconciliation processes to maintain accuracy in transaction records and reporting.
- Monitor currency pair movements to identify arbitrage and trading opportunities across providers and platforms.
- Execute trades that optimize conversion rates, analyze FX spreads to minimize slippage, and collaborate with finance and compliance teams to ensure controlled and compliant execution.
- Oversee daily liquidity planning across currencies, ensuring adequate cash availability while avoiding idle capital.
Banking and Partner Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, FX providers, IMTOs, and payment networks to facilitate efficient fund transfers and access to liquidity.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and terms to support cross-border transactions.
- Evaluate and onboard new liquidity partners, explore emerging payment rails, and adapt innovative solutions that improve transaction efficiency and support the companyʼs growth.
Business Development and Strategy:
- Drive treasury-related business development by identifying new opportunities for partnerships, cross-border flows,and market expansion.
- Provide strategic input to leadership on market trends, treasury optimization, and emerging financial technologies.
- Ensure adherence tolocal and international compliance standards, including AML, KYC, and tax requirements, and lead continuous process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and resilience across treasury operations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Treasury Operations, FX Sales, or Currency Trading with a solid track record of executing cross-border payments and managing liquidity.
- 2–5 years of experience in business development or client relationship management within Financial Services (Banking, FinTech, BDC, or Investment platforms).

Job Summary
Account Management & Client Relationship Building
- Manage day-to-day relationships with small and medium-sized accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
- Understand client IT needs and recommend appropriate solutions across networking, cybersecurity, cloud, collaboration, and infrastructure technologies.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Maintain and update all account details, interactions, and opportunities in CRM systems.
Sales & Business Development
- Independently generate, qualify, and close opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, solution proposals, and quotations.
- Work closely with pre-sales engineers and technical teams to align customer requirements with solution architecture.
- Participate in tenders and RFP/RFQ processes, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts.
Internal Coordination & Execution
- Collaborate with technical, project delivery, procurement, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
- Follow up on project timelines, delivery schedules, and service-level agreements.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to management.
Job Responsibilites
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in IT sales, account management, or customer-facing roles within the technology or systems integration industry (internships or NYSC experience acceptable).
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components — networking, servers, cloud, security solutions, etc.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales targets.
Required Skills
• Sales experience within an IT systems integrator VAR MSP or technology vendor in Nigeria.
• Familiarity with OEMs such as Oracle Cisco HP Dell Microsoft Fortinet Sophos VMware AWS/Azure.
• Experience responding to RFPs and coordinating technical inputs.
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills
