    Centre Manager (NGO) (Abeokuta)

    Our client, an NGO, serves as a backbone organisation for social change. It facilitates outcome-focused programmes to deliver measurable, meaningful changes for low and lower-middle income Nigerians. It is committed to facilitating sustainable social development to educate and empower Nigerians to be able to make positive health choices and attain financial independence by delivering digital learning programmes and ICT-based education. It also serves as a social enterprise platform for technology training, incubation, and revenue generation. It envisions a country where all people attain their full potential in education, sustainable income and healthy lives through diverse individuals and communities that care and celebrate giving. Located in Abeokuta, the organisation is now seeking to recruit an exceptional individual as the Centre Manager.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide operational leadership, ensure smooth coordination of all departments, and drive the effective execution of the organisation’s strategic goals across digital education, community development, finance, and innovation programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of all units (Digital Education, Community Development, Finance & Funding, and the Innovation Hub).
    • Translate the Executive Director’s strategic directives into actionable operational plans and department-level workstreams.
    • Lead performance management by consolidating departmental reports, tracking KPIs, and ensuring timely submission of monthly and quarterly dashboards.
    • Ensure internal discipline, process compliance, and adherence to organisational policies and SOPs.
    • Coordinate cross-departmental activities to guarantee synergy, resource optimisation, and smooth program delivery.
    • Serve as primary liaison to parents, community stakeholders, and institutional partners, strengthening the organisation’s visibility and trust within the local ecosystem.
    • Manage budgets, procurement processes, and financial discipline in collaboration with the Finance & Funding Department.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability oversight for departmental heads. 
    • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure continuous program stability.
    • Support the Executive Director in preparing board reports, governance documents, and strategic reviews.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred). 
    • Minimum 6 years’ experience in operations management, NGO leadership, education administration, or community-centred program 
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple departments, and enforce systems and structures. 
    • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. 
    • Proven experience with reporting, data-driven decision-making, and operational performance tracking. 
    • Familiarity with digital tools, dashboards, and technology-enabled program delivery.

    Fundraising Manager (NGO)

The organisation is now seeking to recruit an exceptional individual as the Fundraising Manager.

    Reporting to the Executive Director, you will drive the funding of the organisation. Its critical mandate is to transition the organisation away from a founder-dependent funding model to a diversified revenue ecosystem that combines grants, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and earned income, providing the stability required for strategic expansion. Your department will aggressively pursue government grants and formal partnerships.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish a robust resource mobilisation system that: 
    • Guarantees financial transparency and compliance with donors and regulatory standards.
    • Proactively engages NITDA and other government agencies, framing communications as a partnership proposal
    • Builds a diverse funding portfolio to support the company’s programmes
    • Taps into the Diaspora Network: Develop a strategy to collaborate with NITDA’s diaspora engagement platform, connecting the company with Nigerian tech professionals abroad for mentorship and remote support.
    • Introduces earned-income streams to gradually reduce dependency on external donors 
    • Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy.
    • Build partnerships with local and international funding agencies.

    Qualifications

    • Degree-qualified
    • Relevant experience in fundraising
    • Strong proposal writing and grant management skills.
