    Maintenance Contractor Site Representative (CSR) H/F

    Mission

    • Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities
    • Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules
    • Is responsible to ensures compliance with HSE (occupational and process) Legislation, Company Standards and Procedures under his area of responsibility to ensure employees safety, legislative compliance and responsible environment attitude
    • Ensures compliance with Operating Procedures & Guidelines with the asset to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plan Integrity
    • Contributes to achieve and improve HSE targets, respecting the existing procedures and advising new specific ones (if required);
    • Performs the updating of technical documentation;
    • Gives his contribution in Hazard Analyses, incident investigations, Root Cause Failure Analyses, process incidents advising his hierarchy about HSE issues and proposing corrective solutions;
    • Ensures record keeping and reporting of action items from Process Hazard Analyses, Incident Investigations, Root Cause
    • Failure Analyses, Process Incidents audits and other activities as required;
    • Operates in conformity with mechanical codes, standards, regulations and industry best practices (ASME, API,ANSI, and OSHA)
    • Checks and verifies that mandatory aspects (including those concerning local law scenario) are properly implemented for all activities carried out
    • Participates to key procedure audits in proactive manner;
    • Respects the waste management policy in force on site, verifying that all activities performed under his own responsibility, comply it, without any exceptions
    • Working closely with COMPANY’s site maintenance superintendent, he
    • Advises COMPANY・s superintendent on monthly and annual planning
    • Distributes the daily activity to the supervisors as prepared by the planning team
    • Co-ordinates the maintenance operations
    • Checks and validates technical reports
    • Prepares maintenance reports
    • Informs the persons concerned, by appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, of difficulties encountered
    • Takes part in different daily, weekly and site co-ordination meetings
    •  Methods
    • Ensures the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures and tools employed by his crews and, if necessary, suggests improvements to COMPANY’s maintenance superintendent
    • Ensures co-ordination between maintenance operations and Preparation teams
    • Keeps an up-to-date list of work that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdowns
    • Promotes and proposes modifications and improvements.
    • Suggests corrective measures to COMPANY if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,
    • Maintains a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, in close relationship with other sections, in order to prevent non-productive or non efficient operations.

    Profile

    • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
    • 10 years experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations,
    • A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
    • SAP/R3 experience and know-how
    • Ability to direct/lead large multinational teams
    • Ability to work in a service relationship.
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
    • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
    • Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)

    Fitter Foreman M/F

    Responsibilities:

    • Must be able to work with engineering drawings
    • Cut, thread, steel pipework to specifications & installation drawings, pipe threaders and benders.
    • Assemble and fit pipe, tube and fittings in copper stainless and compression joints.

    Materials Technician M/F

    Job description

    SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is looking for profiles to fill the position of  Material TechnicianHis/her main objective will be:

    • Coordinates and controls materials movements from / to offshore site or contractors’ bases.
    • Ensures that materials movements are efficiently and safely performed to satisfy the operational requirements in line with company rules and procedures.
    • Interfaces with production sites / onshore support teams and  (warehouse / stock controllers).
    • Ensure proper storage conditions for project materials in transit to offshore or other locations.
    • Ensures contractors’ materials going offshore conform to company Material Transportation Procedure and Lifting Management System (LMS) standard - documents (FWB, MSDS, Certificates, etc.), Quayside arrival time, color code, etc.
    • Ensures that all materials, especially lifting gears for load out to the offshore locations have valid inspection certificates
    • Coordinate the mobilization of contractors in charge of specific tasks such as bagging/tagging operation and preservation/certification of stored materials in liaison with HSE and warehouse team (when required).
      Initiates services requisition as required for the transportation in line with the procedures
    • Coordinate and handle returned project surplus materials.
    • test the strength and flexibility of materials under different conditions. assess the cost, reliability, safety and environmental impact of materials. research new ways to use materials in product development. assess the risks posed by hazardous materials.

    Profile

    • 8 years post graduation experience with at least 5 years in Materials/logistics management
    • Experience in computerized stock and procurement management systems.
    • Familiar with UNISUP (Total designation of SAP tool implementation project), PM and MM modules.
    • Good command of written and spoken English.

    Scaffold Foreman M/F

    Job description

    • SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is looking to hire a Scaffold Foreman to join her work force in Nigeria.

    TASKS:

    • In charge of all related to Scaffolding, from design to Installation.
    • Prepare Scaffolding activities offshore according to HSE regulations.
    • Prepare Scaffolding estimation.
    • Prepare the permit to work and getting it approved.

    Job description

    • SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Torquer to join her team in Nigeria.

    OPERATIONS:

    • Tensioning and torqueing.
    • Recognize and rectify the faults with torque or tensioning equipment.
    • Identify defects, distortion and surface irregularities on flange sealing faces and threads.
    • Correct selection and assembly joint components.
    • Selection and correct installation of hydraulic torque or tensioning equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reports to Piping/Structural Works Foreman.

    • Liaising with Site Lifting Specialist on a day to day basis for all lifting operations.
    • Ensures that activities performed on site in the project perimeter fulfil project HSE requirements.
    • Reports any incident as per Company and Project rules.
    • Implements with Contractor Site Representative any Risk Assessment of Job Safety Analysis as required by Project HSE procedures.
    • Carries out all lifting operations supervision / monitoring activities required for the successful delivery of the Contracts assigned.
    • Participates in Job Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox meetings on a daily basis with contractors' work teams.
    • Create work procedures; assess contractors' personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
    • Providing technical input on contractor and consultant selection with handling and lifting content.
    • Promoting best practice and use of innovative technology including maintenance of the CMS principles and the LMS.
    • Verifies that the lifting equipment satisfies regulatory requirements: Condition / fitness for purpose, SWL and WLL, Serial No. Identification Number, Valid certificate, Color code if applicable.

    Profile

    Qualifications Required

    The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

    • Diploma holder
    • Experience in Offshore construction, Site supervision, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning in an Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Industry preferably on an FPSO.
    • Advanced rigging and lifting level 2 competences minimum.
    • Experience in oil and gas or related industry to have knowledge of the specific environment linked to HSE aspects
    • Ability to work in a large multinational team
    • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
    • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
    • Working language: English mandatory, French is an advantage
