    Job Summary:

    Oyomesi Specialists Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations and provide accurate imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate imaging.
    • Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to interpret imaging results.
    • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort during examinations.
    • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
    • Follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines for ultrasound procedures.
    • Stay updated on the latest advancements in sonography and medical imaging.

    Requirements:

    • Degree or diploma in Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field.

    Job Description

    A reputable hospital in Ibadan is seeking a skilled and dedicated Imaging Technician to join our team. As an Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, and ultrasounds. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.
    • Perform imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols.
    • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
    • Position patients accurately to obtain the best quality images.
    • Evaluate images for clarity and quality, making necessary adjustments.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging files, ensuring confidentiality.
    • Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Keep up-to-date with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
    • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or Imaging Technician.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
    • Proficiency in operating various imaging equipment and understanding of imaging techniques.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
