    Intern Pharmacist

    Job Description

    • This role is responsible for attending to clients and patients professionally in compliance with standard operating procedures and policies.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    • Drug dispensing activities
    • Provide drug information and advice to other healthcare professionals within the hospital.
    • Provide professional service, information, counselling and advice to patients on medicines supplied.
    • Stock Management.
    • Report dispensing errors and adverse drug reactions.
    • Accurate endorsement of prescriptions for billing purposes and appropriate provision of drugs to various categories of patients.
    • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the pharmacy.
    • Comply with the use of Standard Operating Procedures and policies/adherence to quality standards.
    • Review of each prescription or order to ensure the appropriateness of the medication for the patient and his or her clinical needs.

    Job Qualifications

    Nurse

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides patient care, which may include administering medication, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status in accordance with approved nursing practice
    • Provide pre and post-operative care to patients
    • Provides appropriate counsel and education to patient/family regarding disease process and symptom management
    • Educate patients and their families on the care and home treatment of eye disorders and diseases

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ophthalmic Nurse or interest in the field
    • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
    • Membership in a professional nursing organization desired
    • Substantial knowledge of basic eye care and ophthalmic nursing procedures

    Job Description

    • We are presently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.
    • Reporting to the Pharmacist in charge, your primary role will be to help fulfill orders and provide exceptional service and advice to every customer.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    • Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
    • Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
    • Conducting health and wellness screenings such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

    • Managing Pharmacy Inventory and Stocktaking

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
    • 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.
    • Proven experience as a community pharmacist.
    • Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies
    • Great organizational skills.
    • Strong Operations and Supervisory skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Account Officer

    Job Description

    • Account Officer (AO) is in charge of warehouse transaction management. Such as; cash flow management, inventory reconciliation, primary control, wastage elimination, infraction management in the warehouse, etc.
    • The Accounts Officer will post invoices, Stock transfers, stock receipts / returns, records payments, post and track expenses of the territory assigned to him/her.
    • The Accounts Officer will supervise other staff members that may be assigned to him / her.

    Primary Responsibilities
    Cash Flow Management:

    • Reconciliation of IOU
    • Ensure Zero Cash handling
    • Confirmation of customer lodgements on bank statement before supplying customers and posting on ERP

    Reconciliation:

    • Bi-Monthly reconciliation of bank statement
    • Weekly Customer reconciliation
    • Bi-Monthly stock reconciliation

    Reporting:

    • Reporting of daily Sales and Collection
    • Reporting of Bi-Weekly Trade Receivable for his/her location

    Monitoring:

    • Ensuring that expenses are posted to the right GL before approval
    • Daily Monitoring of 100% postings of sales, collections, PV and waybills.

    Primary Control:

    • Conduct accurate stock count
    • Consistent and accurate audit
    • Spot checks

    Technology Activities:

    • Escalating IT issues and ensuring they are resolved within a day

    Wastage elimination and operational support:

    • Timely reporting of stock damages and other possible wastages

    Infraction closure and insurance claim:

    • Reporting of infraction on SharePoint and to supervisor within 24 hours of occurrence

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of an HND / B.Sc in an Accounting related course
    • Must be computer literate and have excellent ERP skills.
